I prefer 2D platformer by 3rd party developers than 2D Mario games for having unique features.

@Eagly Yeah, I thought that was the joke was but surely if Rex is there too it doesn't count. (Plus, I'm kind of scared to say yuri again because my brother might call me an idiot and stuff, hence why I didn't take a guess.) Personally, I feel there's no way they don't elaborate on the catgirl in the room, I'm more dubious of Sena, though, because of the fact there seem to be tons of NPCs with the same features as her.

@Snatcher I absolutely love galaxy and definitely bought 3D all stars out of Fomo. I knew Nintendo’s game and still played right into Miyamoto’s hands. It was just too appealing a handheld version of what might be my favorite video game of all time with a higher framerate resolution and more importantly the dumping of the motion controllers I never stood a chance and I 100% completed it both mario and Luigi mode. I also heavily doubt I have to say this but I would have been beyond happy if 2 had been in the bundle and I can’t fathom why it and the 3Ds 3D game were not in the bundle. My only hope is they are planning on selling galaxy 2 to us back separately because I would definitely swallow any pride I pretend to have and buy it. But Nintendo definitely feels like it suck’s sometimes they won’t let you buy thier old games but they also won’t let fans do it themselves. I would be all in on playing galaxy 2 and learning why games like mother 3, chibi robo, doshin the giant, golden sun and so many more are as beloved as they are
To do my favorite thing complain about open world games I definitely hate it when a game sends you on an errand that has no point other than making the how long to beat score longer. It isn’t good game design it’s tedium even open world games I enjoy like modor waste my time by making you quest with uninteresting characters and accomplsh nothing while waiting for some character to something important to obligatorily add more time when all you wanna do is hang with your bro ratbag. Other than the stupid field skills which of Xenoblade 3 never come back and I am 99% sure never will the game doesn’t waste your time every chapter with a bunch of fetch quests disguised as story quest all of them at the very least are tied to the plot or offer insight into a character.
I am marking this as a spoiler because I know nothing of this characters significance to xenogears overall story but even in the franchises beginning when it was a repurposed scraped idea for final fantasy 7 it had fanscervice in fact I found other offical artwork for the game on the wiki I would probably get in trouble for posting on the site that goes far beyond xenoblade 2’s most inappropriate moments
Xenoblade 1 is not clean there is a lot of fanscervice in it but the biggest fanscervice characters are kind of spoilely so I am showing someone I am completely confident will not spoil plot points in any way even then 1 is fanscervicy all the femle (and male) party members get swimsuits honestly I think some of the optional costumes in 1 are more revealing than 2’s
I mean klaus knew what he was doing most blades are either cute or attractive either way something that would cause evolving species to take interest in them and it ain’t just people either take finch they were probably made specifically for tirkin
I was happy about byleth getting in because I am a huge fire emblem three houses fan. I of course understand people being disappointed their character didn’t get in I would have loved for Kratos, kiryu (yakuza) or the knight to get in. But I just remember for characters I don’t care for it was put in for some group and they are very happy. It also helps I am not invested in smash outside of casually playing with friends/families I am not the person who plays it aggressively online
Could you link the article to me. In the dlc it gives you swimsuits but they are surprisingly conservative arguably more so than Thier base costumes. I am curious to see if it is fanart of the official swimsuits or just something they plucked of the internet
Yeah I mean pretty much everyone has played and enjoyed something with fanscervice in it. The point though is if xenoblade 2 was carried solely by fanscervice people would not be talking about it 5 years later. Most harem fanscervice anime with no value get lost to time xenoblade 2 is still talked about it has more than fanscervice. Also most of them were at least speaking like they played bayonetta
Thanks it fits I mean I do like Pokémon I really like the idea and want to like the modern games. It bothers me when people get called a hater who want to dislike pokemon for hating on the games I don’t. I want to love them. To compare Pokémon to my favorite tv series of all time velma everyone hated on it for a few weeks but then stopped talking about it and probably won’t bring it up again because nobody cares. Unlike Pokémon I care about Pokémon thats why I am so hard on it. I’ll stop bashing it either when it reaches a fraction of its potential or I simply give up on caring about it
Don’t get me wrong xenoblade as a whole does have alot of great Waifus but the hooks run way deeper. You definitely are not the only person who came into xenoblade for the waifus and left with existentialism it’s funny seeing new xenoblade/nier fans who get much more than they bargained for reactions. I also got one first because I have a pathological need to do things in order

But back to zeke he is literally introduced unknowingly making inappropriate innuendos and being an idiot. And then you quite literally see him almost get killed and pandoria become a s#x slave (again this games gets dark). But beneath his childish demeanor zeke is very much an adult who understands stuff and was the only one who talked rex into sense in that scene and I know it would have been better narratively but yeah I am glad pyra and mythra came back

my rule of media is nothing is unintentional. A draft has to be written by multiple writers. Approved by a guy on top, recorded by voicd actors animated by animators and approved by many more people at the top. And all of those people probably more than 100 lead to the game being the exact way it was presented to the consumer. And put that way in no universe did they somehow accidentally put that much implication that morag and Brighid like each other. And also this franchise gets away with so much I refuse to believe that they wouldn’t be allowed to get away with a fan favorite ship if thats what the fans and some of the developers clearly want. I believe they definitely have the gall to make the majority of fans happy

God of war is an amazing example of companies caring about a game. All the little details and fun interactions the games is a masterpiece. Why do open world games always do fetch quest? Like they could at least pick something original, but it’s always a fetch quest, with filler text, and what’s worst, is that it’s usually downtime between the main story, and like you said, other then the field skills which I think suck so much, the game never waste my time, and I feel like everything in the game plays into the story one way or another.

Right? What fanservice franchise really gets talked about much? Even the most popular one, gal gun, I don’t ever hear it talked about unless they come out with a new game, it just kinda exist, xenoblade 2 on the other hand, hasn’t been forgotten about, yet they will claim that’s all it’s about for some reason, right? They all seemed like they played Bayonetta, and only watched two scenes from xenoblade, that being the fanservice scenes probably, but even the fanservice scene was actually used for something like my god that was genius!
I think people that really care for the franchise, are the ones that are going to critique it to get better, a lot of there games at this point are downright unacceptable, the game is 60$, and asking for an extra 30+ and for what? Just to port the same models over, over, and over, and over again, and to keep charging us extra for it, it’s honestly a sad to see the game like this, I love Pokémon, but I can’t defend this.

The fact that the games get as dark as they do, with such a deceiving artstyle is great, like the lengths of how dark they got with some of the implications, took this seemingly innocent game to a whole new level, and I’m so glad zeck and pandora are ok, I can’t bare to think about it, and yes there is the fact that Pyra and mythra ask Rex to do him a favor, which he plans to don with all his might, just to ask to be killed, it’s dark man. Zeck was what Rex needed, he had knowledge that Rex just didn’t obtain yet, which again, you wouldn’t think he would be the guy, but here we are! We love you zeck!

Wile I haven’t played it, the stuff I hear from the devs, don’t sound like soulless company’s making a game, it sounds like a project, that people actually care about, that they took time to think about, those are the kind of games I don’t mind paying 70$ for, even tho I think 60 is fine, at least I can justify the price, and hope it helps them make more like it later down the line.

The blades choose to look they way that they do and while I would argue pyra’s personalitt seems a bit modest for her cartoon if it bothered her so much she would probably change it. And while technically the artist does pick everything that’s true for every franchise at the end of the day pyra and literally everyone else is just a mouthpiece for the writers she has not thoughts everything she does is dictated.

Everyone loves rex romantically or platonically. Morag is his mom and zeke has crazy cousin energy. They all care about him snd it’s natural that feelings would develop. And yeah all 3 romances are done well. Nia is in total control of her declaration of love for rex and after her “rejection” she dosen’t spend the rest of the game bitter at Pyra/Mythra or ever betray her personality she is still Nia. And after it becomes apparent Pyra/Mythra are endgame they keep growing in fact thier most important character growth of decided life is worth living happens well past them being rescued
to crap on self inserts rex has a personality he has good traits and he has flaws. He won people over because of his good traits he didn’t have Pyra mythra and Nia spend the whole game taking turns trying to corner him alone to tell him how great he is. Rex actually just exited and was nice and the girls naturally gravitated to a legitimately good person. It also helps they all had characterizations outside of thier relationships with rex in fact you could remove thier relationships with him entirely and still have full fleshed characters not different proportioned girls with the same personality and goal to date rex. And there is never a contest Nia never gets jealous of the aegis and they are friends and they don’t even acknowledge the fact they are romantic rivals because they aren’t going to let romance get in the way of friendship which is Corney but better than 90% of network tv
Yeah again fully realized characters that just happen to be designed by hentai artists. If thier only value was thier physical looks we wouldn’t be talking about them 5 years later. Thier designs are done well but inside of the designs is the true magic of the game the writing
