I felt a little bit hard to back to focus on 3DS and NDS games once my hype set on PS4, PS3 and Switch games as this year I have a plan to give more attention for NDS, 3DS and Wii games.
Oh, well...
Time to rebuild my hype on NDS games again.

Ironically, despite my love of young-kid shows, I still have yet to start watching Bluey.

Cartoon Network was king. Nick only had SpongeBob going for it and my mom didn’t like it when I watched it. ( She tried the old “ it will rot your brains” thing, but in reality she thought it was annoying.)

I've also binged on "Santiago of the Seas" on Netflix... hey, a guy can't live on Disney forever, can he?

Today is Day of Silence or Nyepi Day in Indonesia, a special day to celebrate Hindu's New Year in Indonesia especially in Bali by doing these 4 things.
1. Amati Geni = No fire, light, electricity
2. Amati Karya = No working
3. Amati Lelangunan = Fasting and no revelry / self-entertainment
4. Amati Lelungan = No travelling

The reason to do these rituals is to have self reflection, take control our desire and also saving the environment by turning off the electricity for one day. An unique tradition in Bali to celebrate Hindu's New Year without euphoria and big party, just stay inside and keep silent. And that's why it called Nyepi which mean Ssshhhhh...! 🤫

Personally, I think that the best way to show people how they are being controlled is showing them the problem with the environment. Namely, the companies and governments managed to shift the responsibility from the industrial sector to the consumers. Companies create tons of waste per second, but through recycling, they are showing common people that they were the problem. Same with electricity. Big shots can burn fuels and consume energy as they please but I should turn off my tiny lightbulb or else the world is not saved.

I'm not Hindu follower (Hindu is one of religion in Indonesia) so I can still use electricity and having normal day activity. The rituals only for Hindu followers.
I just explained what was Hindu peoples in Indonesia to celebrate Day of Silence / Nyepi Day today on 22 March 2023.
Anyway, today the access to Bali island also get blocked for one day (No aeroplane, no ships, no cars) to give respect for Hindu peoples to do their Nyepi ritual.
So, during Nyepi Day, Bali will be completely silent, no peoples walking around except the non Hindu peoples and Pecalang (Hindu security guard) to keep control the situation, no vehicles swarming around, all the business buildings closed except hospital.
This is what it looks like at Bali during Nyepi Day.

Nyepi Day is national holiday in Indonesia but the Nyepi ritual only happened at Bali.
The Indonesian peoples in other places still able to do their daily activities normally.
