@TeaCatherine Yeah I saw. Thank you. I just don't want you to get in trouble. I also censor the word as I don't wanna break any rules. Though if I'm on something like Discord or talking with you directly, I don't censor the word, it's only here that I censor it.

@EllaTheKawaiiNeko I'm pretty sure they don't actually have any rules against the word, but I guess you're right, better to be safe than sorry. Yeah, chances are my pfp is by the guy I mentioned but if they're cute characters who cares?
@EllaTheKawaiiNeko Yeah, plus there is a really hilarious moment to do with the character in my pfp and the character in @Eagly's pfp. Also, I agree with your first point.

@TeaCatherine Yeah, they aren't bad people at all. I mean, I don't look at that kind of art as I'm not interested, but that doesn't mean I don't think that it can genuinely be good content. Also, an attemp to change the topic, I have a sandwich.

@EllaTheKawaiiNeko Yeah, I've never looked at anything like that, but I mean at least the guy can design pretty good characters. What kind of sandwich?

@TeaCatherine traditional is a very good starting point too. There is a good book by Mark and Mary Willenbrink that focuses on tools first. Also, Vivienne Coleman has a solid overview. I can't tell how useful they are since I don't know drawing literature that well, but they aren't digital focused.

@ComfyAko I'm mostly trying to draw anime style, haven't done any art in quite a while and I was never very good at it. What do you think of my starting point earlier? I decided to learn how to draw the eyes first. (See below.)
Couldn't take a very good picture, sorry.
The base for the eyes is Mythra from Xenoblade Chronicles 2, by the way.
Also, for whatever reason you have to look at it on it's side.
@TeaCatherine I think it's very good for beginning, sticking to one thing instead of learing everything at once means faster progress.
There is a channel with fundamentals (like, basic skills for drawing), and I think it's a great starting point, I still do the exercise mentioned there at least a couple times/week
@Colonel_Mustache
It's my first one that I remembered, it's been around the net longer than I am
