As somebody who is mediocre at games hollow knight is not as hard as shovel knight platforming wise (excuse the path of pain). However the bosses are really hard but the difficulty curve is pretty solid.
Most of the really hard stuff is optional and for insane people.There are also items (charms) you can equip to make the game easier.

@Kermit1 As far as I know, Canada doesn’t seem to be bothered by this. The U.S will always play their sad songs on the world’s smallest violin, and nobody will care.
