@EaglyTheKawaiiShika Indeed, and this is coming from a guy who would buy a Trolls game no matter what. Seriously, burned about losing Trolls Pop on mobile. Yeah, the 3DS is a great system. I've always played Nintendo consoles and PC, so I got a great deal of playtime with my 3DS. The 3D effects are cool, thinking about picking it up and playing it again, playing Asphalt 9 is making me want to play Asphalt 3D again.
Indeed, it also showed that rental and streaming wasn't the future for new movies. Last year I saw Sonic 2, Thor, Trolls World Tour twice, Howl's Moving Castle, and The Grinch, and they were mostly packed aside from the first Trolls showing. Plus I have more fun going to other theaters than AMC, like the trip to get there just adds to the memories. I definitely will, my friend and I are keeping it on our places to go.
Indeed, that's why when I watch a video I don't like, I don't click dislike, it does nothing but recommends the video more. Oh YouTube and your silly algorithm, should I mention this part of the post is sponsored by RAID: Shadow Legends? lol.
Yeah, at the start of Trolls, Poppy grew up in an all happy environment, after venturing out to Bergen Town and seeing the world isn't cupcakes and rainbows, she becomes compassionate towards Branch and Bridget, and sees the good in the Bergens. It's heartbreaking seeing her after Creek betrays everyone, but it also helps Branch find what makes him happy. Fun fact, most Trolls fans I run into hate Creek, lol. In Trolls Holiday (the first one) and the start of Trolls World Tour, it revealed Poppy has trouble listening to others, and over the course of the movie, it ends up being more development on becoming a better troll. She's a princess, but she isn't perfect and has much to learn, and I like that. Also, the lore the cartoon series brings. For example, she gives Branch a plushie that she found in the tunnels that he dropped during the escape from Bergen Town. Good stuff!
Indeed, I'm glad you enjoy it though.
@Tyranexx I'm glad I'm not the only one who intentionally uses eShop cards. I just feel safer that way, as silly as it sounds. Date noted, I still got some time, so going to try and grab an eShop card for Metroid Prime Trilogy next time I go shopping.
I always check the game aisle when I go shopping with my friend. Last time, he bought Mario Kart 8 for his girlfriend. I didn't get any games (I got Smurfs Kart, but that was an online gift card for Amazon), but I did get an Alice's Wonderland Bakery activity pad (Imagine Ink one, they're cool, and kinda wish something like this was around when I was a kid), and sparkly Trolls stickers (I don't use them, but I like collecting and looking at character stickers). It was a really fun trip. Shopping then pizza and anime.
@MPSSislit I'm still doing well, thank you for asking us. I've actually been in a pretty good mood, since my birthday is coming up very soon! I hope you're doing well, too. Yeah, I've also been pretty busy in general recently, so I don't have as much time to post on Nintendo Life as I used to. You're certainly right... life can indeed hit like a train! That's cool, I'm huge into games as well, especially Nintendo games, even though that's a given, lol. I like hanging out with family and friends too, and I do like watching movies on occasion. I also love a good Disney movie, and that's coming from someone who's in his early 30s. For my birthday, I've been planning on watching Beauty and the Beast (the animated one from 1991) with my mom, since it's always been my favorite Disney movie... maybe even my favorite movie overall!
@Tyranexx I do have Metroid Prime Trilogy downloaded on my Wii U, so it's just a matter of finding the time to get back into it. In MP2, I think I got stuck around maybe an hour since I started. So yeah, I may have to resort to a guide as well. That's good to hear about MP3 - if there's one thing I don't like about playing games, it's getting stuck, lol. That's understandable about MPH, it does control a bit differently from the other games, since you're using the touch screen to aim and shoot stuff. Surprisingly, I got a feel for the controls, at least back then, since it's been so long since I played it. Kid Icarus: Uprising had a similar control scheme too, and it's been a while since I played that game as well.
@Sunsy I still remember Mario Kart DS's Rainbow Road, that one was a pretty good Rainbow Road course. I liked the Wii Rainbow Road as well, and especially the one from MK7. Really glad that one made it to the BCP! Oh, speaking of Luigi's Mansion, that's one MKDS course I'd love to see make a return. That one is one of my favorites.
Yeah... I'm sure Nintendo will at least have their next console be compatible with Switch games, only time will tell I guess. That's cool, I briefly played the Wii version as well, but I no longer have it, unfortunately. If I can find it for cheap, I might give it another shot. Same thing for the 360/PS3 version. I'm not sure when I'll come back to them, because, you know, backlog and real life. lol
Guess that's true then, lol! Though, I don't think I saw any weirdness when I played my N64 copy, even back then. I know there's this thing called N64 cartridge tilting, where if you tilted the game while it's running, and without it freezing, the graphics and stuff would get screwed up. Unless you don't recall doing that. I've seen various videos of it.
Neither do I, I think they're paid to tell others to play it and stuff like that. I should play more of Asphalt 9 sometime, I do have it downloaded on my Switch. Just a question, does that game have online multiplayer?

AKA MarioVillager92. Ask if you want to be Switch friends with me, but I want to get to know you first. Thanks! ❤️
I saw an artist remake them, and she race swapped them as well, however, they are so much better in my opinion, because it looks like actually love was put into the characters, maybe I only liked it, but even still, I would have preferred that, but sadly, the writers are idiots and that would probably make there head have a shortage.
This is the post I was talking about. By the way what's your new PFP?

@EaglyTheKawaiiShika Yes, although Monolith Soft definitely seem to get a lot of creative freedom. Also, goddang it, I didn't get to play it at all this weekend, my emo sister picked it up and started playing it and left it near the start in that long cutscene near the start and won't finish watching it. I want to continue with it so badly.

@EaglyTheKawaiiShika She's the kind of person who didn't really have any interest in it, just picked it up (I don't even know why), started it, than put it on sleep and ignored it. Plus, anytime I tell her to finish the cutscene and save, she just tells me to "F*** off".

@EaglyTheKawaiiShika Or just close the software and switch users 'cause she obviously doesn't care about her 10 minutes of save data and she was using my Switch. That option seems pretty fair to me.

@Kermit1 Man, this joke doesn't seem fresh... speaking of fresh, here's today's sponsor, Hello Fresh!
I've watched too much Linus Tech Tips.
@MarioLover92 Yeah, it's nice to get some of the other Rainbow Road variants. What if we got a Rainbow Cup that's just Rainbow Road variants? The Luigi's Mansion course was such a great Halloween track!
I still have my copy of the Wii version, I don't think I can use a GameCube controller unless I hook up my Wii, so may have to use a classic controller for it. Yeah never played the Xbox 360 version, it also explains why I never played Sonic 06, and played Generations when I got it for my PC.
Wow, I remember cartridge tilting, or swapping. Never worked for me, but there was a way to unlocked Sonic 3's level select using Sonic 2 and swapping it. Early gaming days were riddled with mystery, lol. I'm typing this while watching a Nintendo Iceberg video talking about various rumors too, and boy I remember a lot of what's being talked about.
Pretty much. Yes, Asphalt 9 does have multiplayer, online, with friends via clubs, and exclusive to Switch, split screen (Switch has exclusive offline modes not in the mobile, Xbox, Steam and Windows Store version of the game). The Switch version tried to be a balance between bought, and F2P. If you wanted, you could buy a $15 DLC with five cars, 300 blue tokens, and 200,000 credits. Though credits and tokens are earned by playing, you can get 30 tokens daily by completing daily goals, credits with each race and daily events. I've seen many compare this pack to "buying" a retail copy (buying in quotes, they can all be unlocked for free, it does take time).
@EaglyTheKawaiiShika isn't race swap generally a pretty dangerous idea? Many people get very upset and I've seen things blowing way out of proportions very fast with this topic.

@Snatcher So, your PFP is from Cyberpunk Edgerunners? Cool, I kind of want to watch that at some point. What's Lavender Town? @EaglyTheKawaiiShika Eh, Ella said she had a 4 day weekend this week and she doesn't post on days off.

@EaglyTheKawaiiShika yeah, I didn't mean the forums here. I know that people here are welcoming, and I really like it here. It's more like, some artists were really ostracized for their drawing so I just assumed that a full budget tv show would not take its chances with that.

Actually a quick question - if you wanted to say something that might not be taken well to people dear to you, would saying it on april fools be a good idea? So that you could back off and say that it was a joke if things started to go south
