@EaglyTheKawaiiShika Same here. I'm thankful I only had to use the ignore and block feature to a minimum here.
As I answered to @MarioLover92, I picked the first one. It is a tough choice, because I really love both Trolls movies. First one for the reasons I mentioned before. The second because of the world building, the new kinds of Trolls based off different kinds of music. Having the lucky chance at seeing it on the big screen made me love the details of the world and this series even more. Really hard to pick between the two for me, picked the first because of the story of happiness, while the second is kind of like Infinity War. The strings are like the Infinity stones, and Barb's guitar is like the gauntlet. While it follows that, it expands on the world a lot.
I agree, DreamWorks usually does some good sequels. Shrek 2 and the Kung Fu Panda sequels were great, I think I saw the second HTTYD, don't think I've seen the third. Haven't seen Shrek 3, I've seen the first, second, and fourth. Maybe I'll see it one day on DVD, I need to buy the movies and it might be cheaper to get all four in one set.
Indeed, actually the whole Trolls world is just comforting and happy to me. Yeah there are some dark areas such as Bergen Town, but it helps paint the picture for the Bergen's story and way of life.
I still remember Captain Underpants, and losing it when they actually did the flip-o-rama scene, lol. My brother had the books and I remember that.
That's awesome. Now I'm reminded, I have Guardians of the Galaxy pinball downloaded to my Wii U.
@MarioLover92 Thanks! Work is the song that never ends lol. I hope the planning for your bday goes well. Happy early birthday btw!
Blender is a free 3D modeling program. I know of it but have never used it. I used another 3D modeling program, Maya, or some classes in college and enjoyed that. Unfortunately that does require a paid license. Unity 3D is a fun program to play around with. I highly recommend it if one want to experiment with game design.
Sounds like the Splatfest competition is fierce indeed lol. Best of luck! That's a good descriptor of Origami King; it's decent, but I wouldn't call it GotY material. Good world and writing, workable plot, but questionable combat. It's slightly better than Color Splash, which I did like despite its flaws. I've only put half an hour into Mole Mania so far and find it very creative.
@EaglyTheKawaiiShika I've only seen Frozen a couple of times. It's good, but I do feel sorry for parents whose kids have made them watch it fivr million times lol.
I can understand why some parents would want to protect their kids from some types of content, but I don't think that should on life real world themes and issues. I think Encanto's generational trauma is one excellent example. Anyway, I still intend to watch PIB2 and the new Avatar movie. While I like reading different impressions when it comes to media, I do like forming my own impressions about something if I'm curious enough lol.
@Sunsy I admittedly never really got into FPS titles - I tried CoD at one point and wasn't a fan - though I've never tried any of the classic ones either. Probably the closest titles to the genre I've enjoyed were the Metroid Prime games, and those are more 3D Metroid titles with some FPS elements.
As for that Christmas cover, I think I'll track down the midi version. I quite like those sorts of takes too.
Hey everyone, how's life been here? I've been mad busy for the past 2-3 weeks between Christmas, New Years, trips abroad and the all-time classic....getting sick, so I haven't really been keeping up with things here as a result. I'm gonna be back on here starting today, though I'm probably going to be MUUUUUUUCH quieter than before. The break did me good and showed that only checking in occasionally is a pretty sound strategy hence why I'm (hopefully) going to be sticking to it for the next while. Hope everyone here had a wonderful Christmas, New Years and whatever other holidays you celebrated!
Also yes I'm fully aware what I've just typed does not sound like me at all. Currently recovering from a nasty infection that has absolutely banged my head in so if I sound like I'm babbling away without much rhyme or reason, that's probably the reason why XD

My Switch's battery got dropped very quickly in handheld mode after long time didn't play. It was depleted 11% in 13 minutes. 😰
So I have to dock it all the time since I got the V1 release with shorter battery life span, still unsure when I want to get the OLED edition for longer battery life span and bigger screen for handheld mode as all my save data inside the V1 machine and I probably forgot my password for my V1 account unless I played the same games again from beginning and that will be very painful.
@Anti-Matter After I'm done with this weekend's Splatfest, I'm currently making my way through Mega Man Legacy Collection! Got MM2 beaten over the holidays and plan to start the inevitable pain that is MM1 shortly!
Wish me luck: I'm going to need it.

Well then, enjoy Trolls World Tour when you get around to watching it.
Indeed, it's so nice DreamWorks expands on their movies when they make a sequel, or even spin-offs. Had some fun with Penguins of Madagascar and the first Puss in Boots.
Yeah, they used felt animation in Trolls for the scrapbook scenes, even The Bad Guys felt really stylized too.
This is unironically the best DreamWorks discussion I've had online, thanks Eagly.
@Tyranexx That's cool, I do enjoy them I like playing some modern ones like Apex Legends and Paladins, but enjoy the more classic ones like Doom, Quake, and some of the more obscure ones from the 90's like Rise of the Triad and Blake Stone (Wolf 3D engine game, like James Bond, but in space).
Here's that midi version. This plays when you play Rise of the Triad 1994 on Christmas Eve and Day, or changing your computer's clock to 12/24 or 12/25.
@Fizza Hope you feel better. I've ok, Christmas was good, got Sonic Frontiers, and some Trolls stuff including a book with concept art and behind the scenes stuff DreamWorks released. Also spent time with mom watching Home Alone.
Don't worry about, hope you feel better soon!
The resident Trolls superfan! Saw Trolls Band Together via early access and absolutely loved it!
@EaglyTheKawaiiShika Oof. I can totally understand oversaturation from media. I admit I like some of Nickelback's older music, for example, but they were WAY overplayed on the radio at one point. I became absolutely sick of Far Away.
I quite enjoyed Encanto and was honestly blown away with how layered it was, how much it could cater to different age groups. Surface Pressure hit a bit close to home lol. I will certainly be watching both! Though I plan to rewatch the first Avatar movie before going. It's been several years since I last watched it.
@Sunsy I think it's fine if people enjoy FPS games. They just aren't really for me lol. I think my main problem is a lot of them looked like muddy war settings for the longest time; Halo and CoD were both becoming quite popular when I was in school. I do appreciate that there are plenty out there that break the mold though. I'd probably try/enjoy the Splatoon series if I didn't prefer other genres and have a significant backlog lol.
Thanks for linking that midi version of the song. I like that rendition too.
