@MarioLover92 Good to hear, enjoy! Meanwhile, I bought Dungeons & Dragons: Chronicles of Mystara on Wii U thanks to a sale. I didn't know it was on Wii U until browsing sales the other day. I liked playing Eye of the Beholder on PC (another D&D game), so gave it a try.
Yup, I've seen the sequel, I think we rented it from Netflix DVD. We still have a subscription to that, we still rent DVDs regularly. I enjoyed the Mary Poppins sequel.
Yeah, still nice it got an arcade re-release in HD, even if the name isn't Daytona USA.
@BruceCM Awesome! Sounds like it wasn't too painful of a move then. Now just to take care of that necessary wi-fi....
@MarioLover92 I admit I never got into the Halo series back in the day; I thought it was a lot like the other shooters (Ex. Call of Duty) at the time...though now I know there's more to the franchise than that. I was addicted to WoW for about a year, then fell off of it for various reasons, but most of it boiled down to a busy schedule. I've dabbled with the game a couple of times since but swore off MMOs two years ago. As for Street Fighter II, I enjoy various incarnations of the game but don't pretend I'm a master at it (or any other fighting game for that matter).
@Sunsy I'll have to look up that particular brand of Mac just to see the old specs!
@Zuljaras Congrats on the featured Doom Guy piece! I don't always comment on them, but I really do enjoy your creations.
Yeah, the earliest date anyone had for that was the 1 I got, @Tyranexx .... Which just got put back to 25th but that was the next best date anyone had when I looked before anyway
They're going to give me half price for 6 months to make up for the delay, as well & it already had free installation, since some poor person will have to clamber up the telegraph pole & then a ladder outside the building for it

You just reminded me to play that some time. I bought the gold edition on sale a few months back and haven’t gotten to it. Also a great lesson to not just buy a game because it is on sale.
Currently playing: Pokemon Soul Silver, Mario RPG

@Kermit1
I still haven't continued my Mario + Rabbids for 5 years.
Last time I played Mario + Rabbids for a while last year.
My gaming hype is currently on Epic Chef PS4 and probably Dodgeball Academia PS4 will dethrone my hype of Epic Chef once I finished the storyline.
Mario + Rabbids final boss is hard, not complaining just annoyed after 5 attempts with 3 different teams.
(I have not beaten it yet, just needed to get my anger out via light words, like eight)
It's a rough one for sure, but I remember really loving it. It took me about 3 days to actually formulate a good enough plan to take him down, but landing that killing blow never felt better. I rocked out with Mario, Rabbid Luigi and Luigi myself for a combination of incredibly high damage and self healing with Vamp Dash. That comp is extremely frail though so make sure to keep them secure from nearby regular enemies (especially Smashers. I can't even tell you how many times I lost purely because I forgot a Smasher was within range).

@Tyranexx You are missed! You’re a staple here, and the sooner you realise it the better!
Yeah, Doctor Strange didn’t look all that good. I’ll make sure to see it when it gets put out digitally, but the whole banning thing got me thinking. There’s two ways you could interpret it getting banned here. On one hand you could see it as a virtue signal, since the offending footage was only about ten seconds. But on another it could be seen as Disney sticking to their guns, since before they’ve been known for doing the opposite. I remember when they put out the last Star Wars film they removed something so it could pass censors in China. So in my view this is a new stance from Disney. Really interesting, given the precedent.
It’s almost like Marvel’s completely lost steam after Endgame that they need these mini-Avenger team-ups to keep the series hype going. Spider-Man, Doctor Strange have both done it now, and the MarvelS movie coming out next year’s gonna do that too, plus Ant-Man. Since the stakes are gone it takes away the majority of the mystery of the MCU. They could have gone bold and just ended it after Endgame but that was never an option when only two people sacrificed themselves out of all the team members.
I think my main issue with the The Hobbit films is that they put a story a fraction of the length of the LotR books into the same amount of movies. That exposed the true nature of the movies; more cashgrab than artistic choice. I think the same thing’s happening with Fantastic Beasts, since they’re so eager to make multiple movies. My bad, by the way, because it is five movies, not six. My mistake there. From what I’ve read the next two being made depends on how well this one does.
Thanks for enjoying the cover! It’s one of the more ambitious ones I’ve made… since there’s five parts. It’ll be done… eventually. I’ve been spending way too much time on Nintendo Switch Sports though, so that may explain too! 😅 Such a good game, though a little light on sports. Can’t wait till Golf comes. As for Discord, I think you may have not put the random four numbers after the tag. Example: “TheJGG(hashtag)7752” for me, for avoidance of doubt.
@Kermit1 An alternative strategy is using Mario, Yoshi and Rabbid Peach to deal out big damage and finish the fight quickly before Rabbid Peach's Heal move becomes too little to keep your team alive.
Yeah, I loved the LotR films & even the extended versions didn't feel too long, @TheJGG .... Whereas I was bored with the 1st Hobbit film & didn't bother with the other 2
