@Sunsy I was thinking of getting Sega Genesis Classics on the Switch - I used to have Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection on the PS3, but I don't anymore. Really wish my dumb self hadn't sold my games like that. lol

But yeah I do see where you're getting at, I think the DLC raised the price up quite a bit as well. I mean, if everyone on your family plan is into Animal Crossing, sure I guess, but what if most people on it isn't? This is the kind of thing that should be customizable, like say for example if you or everyone on your family plan just wants the N64 games, they could just get access to the N64 NSO app and not pay nearly as much. Hopefully they'll do that later down the road.

@Losermagnet That new leak of that new version of Nintendogs sure looks sparkly and magical.

@MarioLover92 It's a cool collection, my friend gave me a copy of it for my birthday a few years back. It even offers more than just the games and online play, like challenges, mirror mode challenges, and leaderboards.

I agree, it would be nice to customize the plan too. I feel bad for those getting this who don't play Animal Crossing. I play Animal Crossing once in a while, so I wouldn't rush out to buy a DLC for it. If I did want it, I'd just buy it.

@MarioLover92 i forgot about that. I guess i always assumed that was theft, but it's probably mundane like something not being in the right spot in the warehouse. Luckily they're sending me a replacement at no charge (and i dont have to send Penny back). Hopefully I don't end up with two lol.

@Sunsy That sounds like a good package, I may end up getting it on a potential eShop sale later on. Really wanna know more about Sonic Origins too, if it's the Christian Whitehead versions of the classic Sonic games on the Switch, then I'm all in. I'd really rather not use my phone to play these games so that would be great.

Apologies for the late responses. Though I was very upfront about my very limited availability for the next while. I'm still chipping away at Luigi's Mansion 3 here and there, but I'm not playing much else besides a few minutes of Pokemon Go here and there.

@Anti-Matter I gotta say, I also like aspects of the old Clark Hugo background story. In fact, the childhood abuse has some similarities to what the primary antagonist went through in the novel Red Dragon. I like many of the backstories for your other characters too. You've certainly put a lot of thought into it all! I used to watch a lot of crime dramas back in the day, namely the various CSIs, Criminal Minds, and occasionally Cold Case.

@MarioLover92 Seems as though Metroid Dread has been patched, though I didn't dive into the article here in order to avoid potential spoilers. I'm also glad that Origami King was patched. I've been watching it on Amazon for some time - the price is in a range I find agreeable - but I haven't jumped for it just yet. I'm trying to get better about only picking up games if I think I'll get to them anytime soon. The only exceptions are special editions, and I very rarely go for those anyway. _{And, if I'm being honest, really good sales.}

@TheJGG True; while DQ titles are quite a mouthful sometimes, they really do roll off the tongue!...usually. XI S might push the envelope a bit lol. Glad to read that a lot of the extra content in XI is decent and doesn't feel like unnecessary padding.

I'm okay with waiting on Metroid Dread; I've waited this long anyway, plus I'll enjoy it more when I have more time for it. I've been playing Luigi's Mansion 3 in 30-60 minute bursts for the most part. The game's auto-save makes it easy to dive in and out of. Seems as though you are set until Christmas! Also happy to read that Disco Elysium is going well for you so far.

@Sunsy Ohh right, you did say that about the lack of GBA backlight. At least it had you busy for a bit! And ahhh Sonic Advance 3, huh? Never quite played the advanced games of Sonic but I do figure their great cause most 2d Sonics are good. Yea, Logi's pretty good, I'd recommend my combo tho if ever you need (though u are looking for a gaming one) a multi-device combo. Logi k380 + Logi m720, is bliss so far for me ^^.

@MarioLover92 Ohh yea totally. I can see people even on here fixing a way to come together to get cheaper online lol. Gotta love the loopholes in the NSO in scenarios like this. Yea, they paid a lot to Sega apparently (the leak?) to have the service which to me is also another reason why the should have just stuck with GBA + N64. That makes sense about the DLC and all. They should just give you a fixed percent discount on DLC of your choice that way it accounts for people outside of the ACNH world. Btw, what are some of your fav genesis games?

@Tyranexx Sounds like you've been pretty busy with the Haunted Houses and all, including Luigi's Mansion 3 lol. I'm actually doing a stream playthrough of it on my Youtube. It's been really cool so far, the graphics are shiny as hell, the boss ghosts are creative in design, and the music seems pretty good also. How have you been enjoying it thus far?

@MarioLover92 I'm eager to see more on Sonic Origins, I do remember widescreen is a feature. It will be nice to see Sonic 3 and Knuckles back again, I'm more curious on that. You can only get that on Steam, it's basically an official Sega emulator (similar to the Sega Genesis Classics one on consoles, and a simple version for older/lower end PCs).

@tekoii Yeah, I like the Sonic Advance games as they feel like a mix of classic Sonic gameplay with modern style. This is coming from someone who likes the 3D Sonic games. Agreed, actually, my gamepad for PC is Logitech, and I like it since it has XInput (Xbox) and Direct Input for older games. Been using it for years.

Thats it, I keep putting off these games I have to play, or finish, Its Taken me forever to do colors because I just keep putting it off, same for Super metroid and Spel. I'm just going to do it, LETS GO!

@Tyranexx You and me both! I'm trying to do the same thing as you, especially since I have a ton of games in my collection and I'm trying to keep my backlog low. I guess that's what happens when I get older and have not as much time as when I was younger. Not to mention during the late 90s and early 2000s, I didn't have as much games as I do now, so it was easier to go through them or try them out. I miss those days. I get overwhelmed easily, too. lol

@tekoii I'd say Sonic 3 & Knuckles and Gunstar Heroes are my two favorite Genesis games. Sonic 2, Ristar, Dynamite Headdy, and Streets of Rage 2 are up there, as well.

@Sunsy Yeah absolutely, it's pretty odd that Sega hasn't rereleased it for some time now until they announced Origins. Just throwing this out there, would be really cool if they included all the Sonic Advance games. Maybe throw in Sonic Pocket Adventure for good measure, as I and many others haven't even touched it.

@Snatcher I'm doing pretty good. Been playing Smash Bros. and Animal Crossing recently. I'm almost done with finishing classic mode with every character and I'm excited for the AC update.

@tekoii Yeah, with Rocket League it's tempting to save clips of goals that were satisfying, or situational clips, but when you watch them later, 90% of them are meh... 😁
