@Wavey84 agreed on your point on women who hate gaming. I don’t naturally like to call myself a “Gamer” mainly because I feel like a nerd, but people who don’t respect me, let alone look down on me just because I want to relax and game for a few hours is absurd. What’s the difference between that, and watching a movie? Or taking a nap? It’s my time and I can do what I want with it.
@Wavey84 I honestly feel like if a woman makes you feel like you have to change (ie, stop playing games) to earn her love, she doesn’t deserve that love in the first place. That’s why there are different types of females. Some like people who play games, and others don’t. Just because one specific person wants you to stop playing doesn’t mean you should. Move on and find somebody that accepts or even likes that.
My dad was a huge gamer back in the day, (47 now) and met my mother while playing Super Mario 64 with friends one time.
Someday I’ll find a gamer for myself, but for now I’m stuck in my house, chowing down cheez-its when I should be sleeping.
I like to eat healthy too. I rarely eat out, and when I do I don’t order a lot. It’s kinda hard to be healthy during Quarantine tho I can tell you that...
I’ve tried to grow a beard for who knows how long. Can’t seem to get it right. I’m tired of all this stubble. I’ve known some that can grow facial hair very easily and it’s freaking annoying lol
I hate being told by my mom “oh you should try and grow a beard! It’s look good on you”
@Wavey84 @Apportal
weve had some folks on here say their "boss lady" made them "downgrade game collections" in order to make more room for "other stuff"
other stuff meaning purses and shoes.
i told one of them hes getting rid of the wrong thing lol.
id know, my ex tried to do that to me.
short story:
my game room started having random items appearing in it...printers, shoes, suitcases etc.
i took all that crap and moved it into one of the other rooms.
there were also 14 pairs of shoes under a freakin chair in the living room.
you dont mess with a man cave, everyone knows that.
you told me i can use this room for my game room, im holding you to it.
and damn those shoes were ugly.
told you this was gonna be a short story.

@Heavyarms55 Yeah, I just learned about it yesterday. Apparently September 12th is National Video Games Day in the US (I don't think anyone needs to be in the US to celebrate though). So celebrated by playing a few favorite games.
The resident Trolls superfan! Saw Trolls Band Together via early access and absolutely loved it!
@Wavey84 wii is a classic case of Nintendo going too withered in tech they didn't realize they were obsolete on launch, but got lucky with a different audience anyway. By the time wii realized you hadn't been able to buy a crt for years, in the us, they were basically outlawed with ota sd broadcast ending .... You played a wii on lcd or dlp because that's what a display was at that point. My crt tv failed not 4 months before i was able to get wii (because nintendo always shorts supply for a year. ....), So yeah, i never had that experience, however 7 had a dlp that fares better, and a TN panel monitor that isn't super slow.
So the good part of the pointer was useless by the time it launched here. But wiimote was well a cool prototype that was too cheap to be good. Pointer aiming inherently has problems. If your room isn't perfectly laid out, if the tv isn't centered and it's angled. If you can't center the sensor. If you have other objects blocking movement it LoS. And worst of all, if other light or heat sources complete with the sensor it loses tracking constantly and becomes a jittery mess. It's cool for a demo room but not the real world.
Which is why they switched mostly to gyro instead of of the pointer. But the wiimote went cheap on the gyro and didn't include M+. Without rotational it was useless. And without magnetic centering it sucks... Same as on switch. It drifts too much. And the gyro it had was very low resolution.... Cheap. Wiiu and switch are much better there. But switch has no magnetic center. That was a big deal on wiiu
Most of the pointer tracking problems are still a problem with vr as well. The exotic pc setups have some better tech now but still not fantastic. Psvr loses tracking non stop.
@NintendoByNature Thanks! I'll be hitting 29, then next year....Goodbye 20s, hello 30s.
@bimmy-lee Thanks as well! I'm doing pretty well, busy with work as usual. Knocking a few things out in the adulting department too. And, until recently, I was taking advantage of Nintendo's relative silence to slim down my backlog a bit.
Hopefully everything is going well in the School of Bim and that all those who dwell within are doing very well!
On the beard: Depending on the facial hair length when you finally emerge from your dwelling, we'll have to call you Beard Von Bimmy.
@ogo79 Thanks! Winters can get long, so the parentals gotta pass the time somehow....
SO i'm picking between two game cuphead, or dbz fighterz I have played both of them before just not sure which one to pick what you guys think is better, and I love fighting games and run and guns.
Nintendo are like woman, You love them for whats on the inside, not the outside…you know what I mean! Luzlane best girl!

@Tyranexx haha some good choices. One for block making and the other for a barrier around you. Not bad at all. They may come in handy one day at a grocery store lol.

A little update on the Japanese snacks I've eaten over the past few weeks.
First up an instant noodle bowl that you're supposed to eat cold!
Pretty ingenious, it had a peel off slotted area on the lid (on the opposite end where you open it up) to drain the hot water after cooking. Afterwards you fill it with cold water, drain it again, and repeat a few times until the cooked noodles are cold. The noodles themselves were good (you mix in the ingredients after cooling them off), but although it's a fun novelty I think I prefer my noodles hot.
Next up is "Soup de Pasta", a cup clearly marketed as more of a western style take on the concept. It featured Spaghetti style noodles & Cod roe (the little red bits).
Definitely not one of my favorites. The seasoning mixed up into a hot watery take on a cream based sauce, it had a pungent fishy odor (as someone who generally likes seafood, this isn't a complaint I've made before), and there weren't many noodles. To my surprise after the stink, it actually tasted pretty okay, but not something I'll purposefully get again.
Next up is a cup of "Kitsune Udon", which is of the same brand as the "Tanooki Soba" I posted last time. It featured fried Tofu.
Just like it's predecessor it tasted delicious, with a rich, almost sweet flavor (which I think is from the Nori, now that I paid attention).
Next up is a pack of onion flavored ramen.
Nothing particularly standout, but they tasted pretty good.
Finally, a bag of Evangelion branded potato chips. They come in a few different variants, but I got the Unit 0/Rei design in my box.
I think they were supposed to be some sort of special flavor, but they seemed to be just regular potato chips to me. Tasted good, just nothing special or exotic.
Sorry for the long post. I had intended to post these as I ate them and just got behind in actually doing it, lol. I know it's probably not that interesting a topic.
