@Zuljaras P.S.
What did you post a couple of pages back? Thanks to you using ImgBB, I could only see placeholders, and not the actual pictures. I'm assuming it was the finished version of your latest drawing?
Either way, that's just another reason why I always use PostImage: never had any issues uploading and/or posting pictures and making them viewable for everyone with that site.

@NintendoByNature Be sure to let me know your verdict on Perfect Dark. It's probably a bit harder to get into nowadays, what with the much harsher differences between 3D graphics and all, but it's still a good game in it's own right, far as I'm concerned.
On a side note: you actually can play Perfect Dark without an Expansion Pak, but only part of it, and you'll obviously not get the most out of it, so it's definitely worth getting one, and not just for that game.
I also own Outlaw Golf, which is fun in short bursts, but the humor/comedy gets a bit repetitive after a while.
@Zuljaras Ah, okay. I'll check out the Nintendo Life Artists thread, then.
Oh, by the way, here's a Megadrive exclusive recommendation: Ristar. Hands down one of the best side scrolling platformers of the 16 bit era, in my humble opinion. And I only found out decades later, after having played it in an emulator, so go figure.

@ThanosReXXX for sure. Played a ton of Golden eye back in the day so more or less I have an idea of the gameplay. Outlaw was a game I recall renting a few times, or it was hotshot golf. I think i liked em both
@ThanosReXXX Ristar is an excellent game, I still have it unlocked in Sonic Mega Collection. Really charming platformer. It also looks amazing for a Genesis/Mega Drive game, and the soundtrack is awesome. Never beat it though, the furthest I got was the boss of that music world. But I still highly recommend it

Favorite game: Super Mario 3D World
AKA MarioVillager92. Ask if you want to be Switch friends with me, but I want to get to know you first. Thanks! ❤️
@ThanosReXXX Yeah, for not knowing that zelda meme, I probably should be banned from nintendolife for 100 years. While I did have an NES, I thought Zelda looked weird, and never tried it back then. The first zelda I ever played was Twilight Princess. The consoles I had were NES, Sega Genesis, then Gamecube.
@NintendoByNature Darn, made an entire text wall, Firefox crashed on me, and now I have to type it all again from memory...
Anyway, moving past the accompanying anger of having to retype everything, I originally mentioned that there are more games in the Outlaw series, Tennis being one of them, albeit not on the GameCube: I have it on Xbox. What all games in the series have in common is that they're actually good sports games, hidden underneath a layer of sometimes a bit too much of a juvenile sense of humor, which is basically why I said that it can be fun in short bouts.
@Apportal No offense, but you simply can't disagree with facts. You're still a relatively new member on here, and I've been on here ever since October 2012, so that's FAR longer than you, and it truly does take time to get to know people on here and truly understand the mechanics and/or organics of them, their comments and the community as a whole, as I myself have also had to learn over these years of being a member on NLife.
It doesn't just take posting a lot of comments to become a "huge" member (what does that even mean?), or rather: resident member, it simply takes time, and gathering of knowledge, as it would with people in real life, that you'd also need to get to know first, before you can actually say something sensible about them and/or their behavior, without jumping to conclusions after a possibly faulty first impression. Well, as far as anyone can really get to know someone in an online environment, of course...
Again no offense, but over the past few months, I've seen you jump to conclusions and make assumptions a little bit too fast multiple times, as you've now done again concerning @Zuljaras, and trust me: he's definitely one of the good guys. Some of us may come across as harsh or abrasive at first glance, but you need to be able (or learn) to poke through that and see what we're actually saying or doing, which never comes from a place of intending to hurt or offend anyone.
Speaking solely for myself, I definitely have my heart on my sleeve, so I'll usually speak my mind, and what you see is what you get with me. No unnecessary tip-toeing around people, if I don't see the need or point to it.
@Zuljaras Got another Megadrive-only recommendation for you, and I can't believe I forgot to mention it earlier: basically the entire Streets of Rage series. If you're even remotely into side-scrolling beat em ups, then that's required play material as well. Some of my absolute personal favorite beat em ups across all platforms.
@MarioLover92 Couldn't agree more. I never beat it either, but it's definitely a hidden gem on the Megadrive/Genesis.
@Wavey84 All I can say to that is "yup, definitely also missing the eighties and/or nineties".
We should probably also drag @NEStalgia in here for a nice sour walk down memory lane, because I'm sure he'll also have some choice words to share about it as well...

I dropped by a co-worker's place this evening to try out a MAME cabinet they got off of a different coworker who needed to free up some space. Some of the files need some work and wouldn't boot up, but we did some co-op in the original TMNT arcade, tried a little Donkey Kong III, and rounded out the evening with the arcade version of Tetris. I also had quite a bit of fun entertaining their dog, too; she loves playing fetch and play fighting over her squeak toys! 😁

@ThanosReXXX I didn’t know this was that sensitive of a subject to you...
Yes it’s true you’ve been here far longer then me, but I comment and post regularly here. Compared to you, yes I’m new, but I still know my way around the site. I get the rules, I understand the people here, (to a degree of course, hah) and I know the mods fairly well.
I jump to conclusions lots of times, I’m not even going to argue about that, you’ve definitely got a point. And I was just deeply offended by what he (Zuljaras) said about COVID that day so I overreacted.
So please don’t talk down to me like I’m a 12 year old child. I’m not. I know plenty of people and I know my way around the site. I’m familiar, and as far as online goes, pretty good friends with lots of people.
I spent way too long in this internet argument 😂 I gotta find something else to do. Anyways, take care my friend.
@Apportal just think we’ll be the next generation of Nintendo Lifers. I kinda can’t believe I’ve only been a member for 3 months I’ve been using this website for about 2 years I just never signed up😂
Honestly I've been using the site since 2011 ever since I ran across it while looking for news on Skyward Sword. I just didn't bother to sign up until 2015. XD

Interesting, never thought about that. The ones from 2012 will be consider boomers haha.
