The thought bubbles don't only mean the villager wants to move out. So it can be worth checking them out even if you don't want them to move out.

While i was exploiting Gulliver appearance by Time Travelling, i got Liberty statue and i put it near of Apollo's house since he was represented USA. And i put White Lucky Cat statue near of Raymond's house since he was the only cat villager on my island.
And for Sherb, i put his house separated from all villagers, you must across the bridge but when you see his house location, you will see a graveyard beside his house.

The fact that these even exist makes me smile. You'd think they'd capitalize on that more in other countries lol.

Currently playing: Pokemon Scarlet DLC, Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury (Switch)

I remember when I was a kid, Sabritas (the Mexican equivalent to Lay's) used to come with little plastic puzzles that you could put together to make a tiny Pokemon figurine.

I loved those.

Tazos (Pogs) were cool too.

@Zuljaras That's awesome to hear! I was wondering about that. My intuition paid off after all, lol. Enjoy your Mega Drive 2 - what games did it come with or do you already have some on hand?

I'm pretty sure Space Jam Tazos were all the rage in Australia at the time of the film's release (I still have a bunch of them... somewhere). My personal favourites were the Odd Bodz, which were these weird, crude cards with characters on them, with the art style being reminiscent of Mad Magazine? No-one seems to remember them, and there was never an animated series or anything to act as a tie-in (at least that I can recall).

There was something similar to Tazos (called Dizks) for Dragon Ball Z in the early 2000s. I was never into Dragon Ball Z, so I just gave any that I obtained away, but I do admit that they were quite cool, and they were available in various rarities (including gold and fluorescent).

When I went to Turkey in 2000, Pokémon Tazos (called "Tasos" there) were all the rage. Kids all over the streets were playing, trading, and gambling with them, which caused concern among parents that the brand encouraged gambling. Almost nobody could have afforded a Game Boy or the like there, so, little did they know about the Game Corner in Celadon City.

I believe the anime was pulled from the airwaves when a kid jumped off a balcony and died thinking that he could fly like one of the legendary birds.

Porygon did nothing wrong.

Oh yeah, being the Pokemon nerd myself, Pokemon Tazos were absolutely a necessity for me. I still have a few!

About that kid that jumped out a balcony... They should ban birds in general then.

Speaking about Tazos, it was my favorite toys back to year 1996 when i was grade 6 student.
The franchise that being used on that year was Looney Tunes.
The pictures that being used was actually adapted from Flippo Looney Tunes with 60 numbers on it.
But there was something different on some numbers.
There was NO Porky Pig from Tazos Looney Tunes on my country Indonesia as Indonesian people were majority Moslem and pig was considered as taboo animals even just only the picture from certain franchises.

Same thing happened also on McDonald's Chinese Zodiac animal finger puppets as Happy Meal toys on Indonesia long time ago.
By coincidentally, it just only fit into 10 animals (Rat until Rooster) and the other 2 animals (Dog and Pig) were not presented.
My guessing probably 2 factors:
1. Our fingers just only 10 so the 11th and 12th animals will not included.
2. The 11th and 12th animals were coincidentally taboo animals by Moslem (Dog and Pig)

@Eel
I have a lot of Tazos when i was kid.
Because of that, i got bullied by upper class students (grade 9) when i was 7th grade student.
They showed me the Tazos which i didn't have then their friends passed over each other, tried to mocking me and they tore the Tazos into a half in front of me then tossed into the ground, left me alone while i was crying over the splitted Tazos.
Other class students called me "Tazos Man" when i was 6th and 7th grade because i was really like to collect Tazos.
I got bullied hard when i was teenager.

i guess that takes away the term "retro revival" as well
bringing back something that is already back.
its a re-bring back
