@Anti-Matter No, no, no. None of that "let's evade the topic at hand" stuff today. I dare you to go and watch "As Above, So Below". Come back when you have done so, and then we'll talk...
'The console wars are like boobs: Sony and Microsoft fight over which ones look the nicest and Nintendo's are the most fun to play with.'
@legendcoworker You mean the rule about newbies needing to be FAR more respectful to people who've already been a member of this community for almost 7 years?
All joking aside though, I've no idea what the hell you're on about, seeing as I gave away no spoilers.
I decided to just put on Scare Tactics and laugh at it. I’m going to have to rewatch seasons 1 & 2 of Stranger Things before I start 3. But now dinner is over and I wanna play some more Graveyard Keeper. These pieces of skin aren’t gonna get leathered and turned into books by themselves.
I started rewatching scare tactics myself two days ago actually. Didn't realize there's a newer one starring Tracy Morgan. It's funny as hell too. Just as long as the pranks don't happen to you hahah.
@ThanosReXXX I mostly joke about "being blind" to some of my immediate family. I know I'm a far cry from legally blind as my vision could be fully corrected with lenses of some sort. It was pretty difficult to do much of anything though unless something was shoved up almost to my nose otherwise....
But no, I'd never joke about it to someone who actually WAS blind, or close to it.
Yep, Japanese beetles were accidentally introduced to the US over a century ago. They have no natural predators here and can be pretty destructive to some plants and trees.
@HobbitGamer They like eating on the flowers (thankfully not the leaves) on a couple of tree-like bushes in my side yard (No clue what they are; gonna have to ask my knowledgeable grandma on that one. They were here before I was! XD) as well as the knockout roses that I put in last year. Thankfully they aren't AS partial to them as normal roses since they sit lower to the ground, but it's still a pain to keep them off. Then there's the actual rosebush that somehow survived last year's onslaught....
Unfortunately there isn't much that I can do about them. They're primarily attracted to a large elm in my backyard and tend the stop by on the way. The best I can do is knock them into a sudsy bucket as other treatments I've considered will harm beneficial insects like bees.
The good news is that the elm is large and hardy enough that they only ever partially defoliate it. Plus I wouldn't be able to treat the whole thing properly anyway lol.

It's always fun to pretend you're like Velma and can't actually see without your glasses.
There's a kernel of truth to that, though even I could tell the general difference between a monster and another member of the gang by their general shape and the colors of what they're wearing. XD
@HobbitGamer I'll stick with the shallow bucket of Dawn, but I find your grandmother's approach somewhat attractive. Then she could've blown the suckers to smithereens for good measure.
The grandmother I mentioned had to have someone else take care of the things as she sometimes had a slight reaction to them.

Can anyone tell me why my comment and Rika's got deleted in that one piece article? I don't think we derailed anything and none of us were insulting each other.
The Harder the conflict, the more glorious the triumph. When the going gets tough, the tough gets going.
