So here's something funny I found...

Own up to Joy-Con Drift, Nintendo. We all know it's your fault

Anti-Matter

Um.... Guys.
I think i forgot to get Destruction Sphere from Besaid Temple in order to get Anima. 😧
Ugh.... I don't want to think about beating Dark Aeons after my 60+ hours playing, reached Zanarkand at last before facing with Yunalesca become worthless. 😣
Should i make a New Save file just in case if i changed my mind to restart from beginning again ? 😫

@bimmy-lee We'll see about that binge-session whenever you land here. Although if the weather is good around then, it'd be a waste to sit indoors and play video games, so we'll have to see how it goes...

Anyway, whatever you decide on, PC or Wii emulation, if you need any help, you'll know where to find me.
As for the pointer thing: since the Amiga used a rather normal mouse, Wii pointer controls actually aren't superior, and back then, there weren't really any first person shooters to speak of...

This seems like an appropriate time to discuss railroad history!

No, it isn't. That discussion was already a long and complicated train wreck, so let's quickly pass that station, shall we?

@HobbitGamer Nah, I didn't really ruin anything. Ford was a Nazi-sympathizer, and I don't like those kinds of people. The historic relevance of the model T is undeniable, but the guy himself was a first class mf'er.

P.S.

Don't eat @NEStalgia's consoles, otherwise, he wouldn't have anything to listen to anymore...

@ogo79 That's really cool. Did you just look that up, or did you make that yourself?
From a guy that has a Castlevania wall in his house, I'm expecting just about anything...

@1UP_MARIO I fail to see the connection...

But now that you brought up toilet paper, I've found out how to reduce the usage of it:

It was called Nasi Kerabu (Kerabu Rice), a Malay dish.
Blue rice (with using natural blue color from Blue Butterfly Pea flowers) served with side dishes.

Aww, I thought it was BlueRazz flavored.

Or made of Smurfs.

@HobbitGamer Seriously that was my thought on the pricing. If that's what modern cars cost to upkeep I really can't wait for the complete and utter outlawing of manual cars and everyone forced into self-driving car subscriptions. Can't come fast enough. I'm ready to sell my life to The Cloud. Google can know every pee break. I no longer care enough to care.

@ThanosReXXX lol. You can’t go wrong with that. Definitely recommended. 😀

@ThanosReXXX Wasn’t the jerk an anti-Semite too? Yeah, it’s funny how easily people forget the whole picture. Like Mitsubishi produced the planes in WWII for Japan, Volkswagen was created to ferry German troops quickly and cheaply.

Speaking of, has anyone seen the 75th D-Day memorial things this week? It’s really awe inspiring the trials that all those soldiers and civilians went through in Europe.

Please don't call Nasi Kerabu / Kerabu Rice as Smurf's Rice because it doesn't made of Smurf. 🤣

@1UP_MARIO Good thing that it isn't actually real...
Yup, in case you were wondering: I had to apply my ample Photoshop skills to produce that comical result. Just imagine if it actually was real, and what the repercussions would be...
Or rather: let's not. Would become real messy, real soon.

@HobbitGamer Yeah, he sure was. Kinda goes with the territory of sympathizing with Nazis though, so I figured I wouldn't have to mention that separately.

And yes, I've seen that memorial. Those are always impressive, no matter where they take place, in my opinion. Back then the war, no matter how atrocious it's always been and always will be, was at least actually about fighting for freedom, and not about some weird and/or nefarious goal such as gaining control over natural resources or extending one's control over countries that we might have an interest in. Sadly, that already began right after the war ended, and has been going on in every war after that, and will probably last until the human race finally perishes...

@ThanosReXXX and I fell for it lol. I started searching amazon for it with no luck. I do a lot of diy and gardening so crack cream helps 😀

@HobbitGamer Hard to be a Nazi without being anti-semitic? Well technically I'm still convinced the whole anti-semitism thing of the Nazis was mostly political misdirection (what's millions of deaths but a speedbump to Progress!) to create a villain for the masses to focus on, pulled from an already highly unpopular, yet numerous group, which created a big enough distraction for them to do what they really intended: Foreign conquest and Socialist police state conversion domestically. So I guess one could be a Nazi without really thinking much about Semites since I imagine "those in the know" knew it didn't matter anyway. Hitler gets painted as a madman, but the Nazi party ruled by committee, like most collectivisms more than popular history tends to display, and he was a keen student of realpolitik and human behavior in groups, and was disturbingly honest about his observations. He'd have been all too aware the effectiveness of such a large scale distraction, displayed in such grotesque grandness on public behavior and suppression. He's an interesting study, because despite the "madman" image painted today, he was frighteningly lucid and strategic in his presentation of information and analyses of situations....I'm not sure he was really "mad." A calculating sociopath, absolutely, but "crazy" to just rule an "empire" based around his personal dislike of an ethnicity (or several)....I'm not sure that was his mindset. Nor the committee that really ran the machine.

He was also spot on about the US "as long as they have their hot dogs and baseball games" they won't be a problem. He was entirely right. A little ahead of his time, but the M.O. was accurate. I imagine he was beyond livid at his "allies" in Japan for Pearl Harbor. We'd probably all be flying swastika flags had they not thrown that tantrum and provoked the US before he was done with the UK.

Mitsubishi doesn't really deserve that much flak for that. Unlike VW and Ford, the former created in part by the Nazis themselves, and the latter created by a wannabe Nazi with matching ideologies (though he may or may not have been directly involved in the Bund, essentially making him a bona-fide Nazi rather than just a sympathizer)....Mitsubishi, like hundreds of other companies was merely a heavy industry manufacturer...and all of them were more or less obligated to make war machines at the time. It's a bit different making the machines under contract because you make machines, and even if they're being improperly used, saying "no I won't contribute to making machines that may or may not be essential to keeping our country from being invaded" regardless of if it's the country that started the war or not, isn't really going to fly, socially (or legally) versus being an actual ideological participant in the conflict itself.

If Ireland was going to invade Portugal, it's not like Guinness is going to be able to say "no, we're not going to supply beer for the soldiers, it's wrong!" But it's not like they had a long standing campaign against Fado music. I can't fault a company making equipment that ultimately may be needed to defend a country, even if it's the country at fault for the conflict.

HobbitGamer

@NEStalgia oh, I agree about Mitsu, or any company creating the hardware and such. I just meant it as an interesting fact of how old these companies are how they’ve been parts of history as much as people themselves are. Like Nintendo and playing cards.
@Morpheel but we were being good! Okay, papa mod 😛

I agree. Let’s move this along. Let’s see... where does everyone stand on religion?

I’m a pineappletarian. I practice the sacrament of pizzarhest twice monthly.

So there’s fire ants in my house. That’s nice. Guess I’ll continue spraying and scrubbing and washing when I get home.
