@ReaderRagfish I thought of that too! Oddly though, the classic pro (black with handles) makes my left thumb a little sore. That could just be because I’m used to a different placement of the left stick. Speaking of, is the ability to charge a smash stick not in Brawl?

@ReaderRagfish Oh, ok! I had a classic when it came out, and I loved it for all the VC games. The had a few at the store Sunday for the same price, so I think tommorow at lunch I’m gonna swap this for one. I think I kept the receipt in my Brawl case. I prefer it over these handles, and those may be what’s throwing my grip off.

I have a pro. Mostly because it came bundled with Honster Hunter.

So did anyone else here see Activision-Blizzard get openly BOO'ed when they announced their new mobile Diablo game?

@Octane I know, I just thought it was pretty shocking and funny. And then the way they insulted the audience too... it really showed how out of touch they are with their own primary fan-base.

@Heavyarms55 Yeah, I'm not sure who thought it was a good idea to gather the biggest Diablo fans in a room, generate some hype, and announce a mobile game with no word on a future PC release. "Do you guys not have phones?!?" is going to be a meme for years to come.

Not to mention it's apparently a reskin of a Chinese clone game that released last year.

@Octane Yup. Fans have long memories. Heck, Nintendo fans STILL talk about that one E3 music game Nintendo did. lol

@Octane @Heavyarms55 not to mention that the crowd they are revealing Diablo:Immortal to was predominantly PC players who paid 100s of dollars for tickets, hotels and travel expenses just to hear that the next diablo iteration was not going to the PC. Moreover, the slot they used for the reveal was usually reserved for the biggest announcement of blizzcon!

@diwdiws Yup, it was an incredible sign of how out of touch they are.

@diwdiws This was their biggest mistake by far. Supposedly they might've had Diablo 4 planned to end the show, but decided to save it for a later date for various reasons. This might just be a rumor, though, but either way...if it meant they had something better to show, they may as well just throw in a quick teaser so they have something to take fans attention away from the low-effort mobile game they clearly did not care about. It's not rocket science - Nintendo had fans in a tizzy by ending an E3 with a logo for Metroid Prime 4. Even if you don't know whether or not you're gonna change things down the line, fans want to hear that they have something substantial to look forward to.

Instead, they made themselves look like sellouts.

@CanisWolfred completely agree or they could just have made the order of announcements a litte bit different. They could have announced Diablo mobile in the beginning as a minor reveal and end Blizzcon with the Warcraft:reforged. Ending with warcraft would not have pissed if the hardcore fans in attendance even without annouceing D4.

Its just so stupid to give Diablo Mobile the ending slot of Blizzcon!

Blizzard-Activision is just lucky that Square-Enix managed to make them look competent this week.

I'm fully convinced execs honestly believe mobile gamers are the same as PC/console gamers and that PC/console gamers are actually migrating to phones, and only don't because the games aren't there yet.

@Yosheel Yeah, that's the ultimate insult: Gather all the core fans in one room, tell them the future is not only a mobile game, but just a cheap rebrand of an existing mobile game designed mostly for Asia. It's like selling tickets to a The Who reunion concert and when people get there, advertising a Barry Manilow album instead.

@CanisWolfred Kotaku did a lot of digging and got some inside tips on that, and the three scrap and restart cycles of D4. Not a Kotaku fan, but when they do deep digging, they have good reliable inside contacts everywhere.
