@HobbitGamer yeah i don't get sweet tea. I tried it once and it was offensive. How does anyone drink that?. I also dislike American Nutella, coke, etc. They make it sweeter than the overseas versions here.
So I’m about 40-50 miles from an air base, and it’s not uncommon to see night flights of low-flight cargo planes for training hours. What is uncommon is to see a day flight of a Hercules so low that you can see its pilots in the cockpit and feel the air disrupted.

I didn't originally even care for tea as it's almost exclusively served cold where I live. I've found that I can tolerate warm green tea with honey at least. It's now my morning pick-me-up from the Keurig machine at work since I'm not a coffee fan.
Me: Okay, you need to cut down on your backlog a bit. Don't buy any more RPGs for a while.
Played some Twilight Princess earlier, thawed out Zora’s Domain and filled the light vessel. I’d forgotten just how dark some parts of the game are. That cutscene with people upside down. Creepy.
Real life break now to grab groceries and then do laundry.

They add sugar to dried fruit in the US? What kind of nonsense is that? Dried fruit is already sweet enough as it is, why would you want to add even more sugar?
leave us alone. were fat, greedy and everything in united states is nonsense. no one likes us because we take over everything. but jersey shore.
they are an embarrassment to us. we want to get rid of them

@Yosheel
both. the place was already a hell hole, the show just poured more salt in the wound.

Turns out not only did the store I'm in break the revenue record it set on opening day just a week later, but over that first week became the top grossing store in the entire company for the week too.
And I am exhausted.

That's one of my favorite cutscenes in the entire series! Different sections of this game definitely provide plenty of nightmare fuel.

It's not often that you'll find me referencing South Park, but wasn't there an episode about Jersey taking over the US? I've only seen clips someone sent me.
@hobbitgamer oh yeah that was easily the most disturbing cutscene NIntendo ever did. Though they actually do a lot of disturbing cut-scenes. Also The girl with the mirror in the snow area. There were a few other really dark things. The first time you go to the steampunk town with the bomb shop and all the kids are cowering in the house still stands out as purely the darkest part of the game though.
Somehow that still keeps coming up as one of my favorite zeldas. 2D zelda still needs to win though.
Yeah, Twilight Princess manages to follow OOT closely while also being completely unique in tone and atmosphere. It's one of those games I come back to every other year or so.
There are even things in MM that scared me as a kid when they didn't really attend to. Like the bird that steals your stuff before the Woodfall entrance in the overworld, pretty much everything about the Great Bay Temple, that one gecko enemy that rides on a snapping turtle etc.
But I love when articles do this sort of corollary:
The analysis of 24 studies from countries including the U.S., Canada, Germany and Japan found those who played violent games such as "Grand Theft Auto," "Call of Duty" and "Manhunt" were more likely to exhibit behavior such as being sent to the principal's office for fighting or hitting a non-family member.
No, playing video games don't make you violent. People who play those video games are fairly deficient to begin with. It's a mass market lowest common denominator drivel that while it appeals to some normal people, disproportional appeals to large groups of people that already have "issues." The article eventually addresses that....near the very end....
@KryptoniteKrunch MM is 100% pure nightmare fuel from beginning to end though. TP was just sometimes dark. MM is warped and twisted in a dark carnival sort of way. TP is sometimes disturbing. MM revels in the idea that no matter how twisted and disturbing it seems all of this is 100% normal......you need to join the madness.
