.......Well Ingress is even more boring than Pokemon Go and Niantic needs to burn in a fire. Seriously, I cannot do a thing here...In Ingress you have to be like, level 7 to submit new areas.....BUT YOU NEED A FREAKIN' PORTAL TO LEVEL UP.

Screw you Niantic, I give up with you.

Those are games you're supposed to play by going out and exploring the city.

You're simply not the intended audience.

There's nothing to explore....I'd have to walk for an hour just to get to one area. Not to mention Florida weather, where it's blazing hot one moment and a pouring lightning storm the next. I'm in a decent area, too...but Niantic just sucks.

@Joeynator3000 You can always play when you happen to be in town. Or go by bike, if that's any faster. It's a game that incentivices you to go out. Without visiting stops, gyms, or just walking in general, it's a pretty boring game.

Hey, guess what, my town (which is decently busy/big)....has one stop TOTAL. Like I said, Niantic just sucks. There's basically no way to get new Stops/areas/whatever. Seriously, the games are waste of time if they're not going to fix this.

Vanillaware games are beautiful, but they can get kinda repetitive tbh.

The UK Switch eshop servers are undergoing maintenance tonight. No doubt preparing for the Nindie storm tomorrow...

My town, a lousy city with nothing special about it in the least inhabited state of a "third world" country has about three gyms and at least 10 stops scattered around.

It's not niantic that decides what becomes a stop or not. They literally can't go through a list of all places in the world and checking what might make a good stop or not. If there's nothing in your city it's for some other reason.

It's their fault for making a lousy system to get new areas. I've even heard that it takes months for one to just be accepted. I'm just sick of them, they need a better area submitting system, because I literally can't do anything in either games.

@Yosheel @Joeynator3000 Don't know how big the town is you live in, but I used to live in a relatively small town with a population of around 8,000, and there were at least a dozen of gyms and around 40 to 50 stops. Bigger cities have a stop every 100 metres it feels like.

I'm not in a huge city, but it's a decently sized...but stops are just rare. the only place has a decent amount is a park that would take an hour or so via walking. And in this weather, hellz no. lol

I live near a very busy road, too...so you'd think my area would be filled with stops...but...nope..

@Joeynator3000 I guess that's the disadvantage of living in an American town Here's it's all within a 10 minute bike ride.

Places with stops tend to be cultural or tourism-relevant.

You won't really find many in suburbs or neighborhoods.

Parks, downtowns, historical places, tourist attractions, monuments... Those are the safe bets.

In either case, remember... It's just a game... You don't need to play it every day, and you don't need to catch them all.

Just load it up every now and then when you're in an interesting place and see if there's something in-game. Don't obsess over it.

That's the problem, there are barely any stops in my town. lol
Despite being a an okay city, with plenty of activity...there are barely anything in them.

So even playing it every now and then would be pointless, because there are never any stops nearby.

Do you ever travel outside town?

That's the best chance for me to use this game.

I rarely go out of town.

Pretty much this. Niantic goes with "points of interest" that can be found on Google Maps. Gee, I wonder why? 😉

A lot of small towns near me only have one stop, which is generally the post office.
