I ventured into Gamestop today initially just to grab this month's Pokemon distribution code, then found myself browsing through their used DS and Wii games. They're way overcharging for some of them, IMO. I DID almost pick up Super Paper Mario (I didn't think $15 was bad)...but maybe next time.

Also, $22 dollars for a lousy Lycanroc Midday Form plush?

Since my wifi is being super crappy all of a sudden and incredibly spotty, so streams drop frames, this weeks NL Inklings stream has been changed to an off-air practice session instead.

Next week though: Splatfest! But that's really bummed me out now. Need to get that fixed.

...Well, I just lost ~40 minutes of progress in XCX due to a power outage. Of course I didn't save for a while since the mission I started is known to bug out and is a potential game-breaker. It could be worse, but still, with a huge, lengthy game like this, every little bit helps.

...Hopefully my Wii U isn't the worse for wear.

I do. The Creators update is well known for causing problems, since it wasn't fully compatible with, well, anything. If you can, try to get to a wired internet connection, and check if your wifi driver is up to date. If not, check you PC manufacturer page and update it. Updating drivers did clear a lot of the issues I had with the damn update.

I miss the times where things just worked out of the box...

I'm so envy to see a Big game grocery like that displaying tons of video game softwares & hardwares.
Contrary with my game shop at my place.
Just only Tiny shop with some games and very few machines displayed (around 15 - 20 different titles displayed)

Because buying original games are NOT my country culture, so some Indonesian people spent their money for Smartphones + Free games from App Stores + some illegal emulator for playing pirated copies on their smartphones / spent their money on PC with Pirated PC games all the time.
I feel sick with my country sometimes in term of unhealthy gaming lifestyle.

My power is finally back on. It took a little over three hours to be restored. Definitely not the worst outage I've been through, but dang did my house get cold. Apparently the cause was a semi truck that had a tire catch on fire and blow a couple of miles to the north, which caused it to skid into a power pole. I kind of wondered if the sirens I heard earlier weren't related to my predicament.

Anyway, I'm hoping to check on my Wii U in a little while.

@Luna_110 apparently the only option I have is an old wireless adapter. (seriously, it's hanging on a wire connecting the big antennae and chip...) No 5ghz support (meaning no more streams in general for me) and it's sometimes unstable with download/uploading.

When trying to connect with my new adapter, it just doesn't connect, and when it does it loses it instantly...going into settings causes the computer itself to freeze up. I even had to force it to shut down not too long ago...

I've tried anything, this is the best I can do, I don't even know this will last because of the condition this adapter is in right now.

Not sure how, but I think I managed to fix it. Gonna keep an eye on everything for the night and watch some anime for now. >.>

Sailor Moon (yes I got into it, leave meh alone, lol), going back and forth between watching that and American Dad. xD

I'm looking for some anime that will make me cry, man. People said the end of FFXV made them cry, so I finished that and... nothing. I WANT something that will MAKE me cry.

Assassination Classroom? Cool, thanks. If that doesn't work I'll rewatch Plastic Memories. It's been a couple years since I've seen it so it might work. Even though they tell you what the ending will be, it still hit me hard when it happened.

Yeah the ending (season 2) got me...I mean, I wasn't on the floor crying up an indoor pool or anything, but....ugh. TwT

@Fooligan Well, I suppose that you already have seen these ones since they are classics but just in case I recommend you Cowboy Bebop and Berserk (classic version from the 90s, not the new one). Both have endings that hit really hard (Berserk doesn't really end though).

@roy130390 I've seen a few episodes here and there of Cowboy Bebop on Adult Swim, but never sat down to watch from beginning to end and Berzerk I wanted to watch the new one but just never got around to it, and when I was thinking about watching the new one the animation looked like crap and it turned me off so I found something else. I'll look for the classic though.

@Anti-Matter It's a shame you don't have as good of a selection to buy from. I've noticed that our Nintendo selection has only been getting smaller and smaller after the Wii & DS era as well (as you can see, there are only 6 different 3DS games in that picture) but I think it'll get at least a bit bigger now that the Switch is here. It's still a bit disheartening to see this Nintendo selection when the PS4 and Xbox One selections next to it are 5 times bigger. Actual game stores have much better selection of both old and new titles but the closest one, as far as I know, is a GameStop that's 180 km south from here (in other words, about 2 hours by car).
