Anyhow, pupper update!

He weighs nearly 11kg and he's getting taller and somewhat unfortunately smarter. He seems to have picked me as his owner which seems to always happen.

I swear I repel people but animals are magnetised to me...

Wow! That dog even knows how to pose for the camera.

Kinda bummed I didn't find super Mario cereal at Wal-Mart today. They had some at the other Wal-Mart so I figured "Oh, I might find a box at this Wal-Mart too." No, that didn't happen. I got some new headphones though, and a Switch game card case so it wasn't a total bust.

@Fooligan I wish it was here in the UK. I want to try it, at least once.

And the more I look at the image of Daxter (Damn he IS cute!!!!) the more I wonder if he really is a Saluki x Greyhound.

So to summarize the last page and a half:

• Meowph was resetting the Odd Egg and got extremely lucky.
• I concur that Gen 2's movesets, on the whole, are pants.
• Yummy is still streaming through Crystal.
• Yummy's dog is friggin' adorable! ^_^
• Ogo needs to shower.

Seriously @Meowpheel and that luck was like me and Shiny Pheromosa!

Gen 2...Gen 2 movesets...you don't even get to tutor Thunderbolt/Ice Beam/Flamethrower until Crystal, even then its post-game, and even then its on certain days only for 4000 bloody game corner tokens!

The TMs are absolute w*** and the compatability is all messed up with some things not learning logical things until later generations, for instance Crobat doesn't get Sludge Bomb, Feraligatr and Waterfall, etc., the wild Pokemon levels and variety is the worst it has ever been or ever will be in the series and the level up movesets are so horrendously bad for anything introduced in Gen 2 it beggars belief.

No wonder the metagame at the time was Rest/Sleep Talk, Toxic, Hidden Power, Snorlax, Zapdos, Raikou, Suicune and Blissey.

@YummyHappyPills I like the region itself though, and the Pokemon designs. The wild Pokemon and trainer levels are all over the place though, and the facts that a good few of the Johto Pokemon are either very elusive or not even available in Johto itself are definitely this gen's cons. I wonder if there are any ROM hacks that ''fix'' the levels and Pokemon distribution, maybe the movesets too...

@Octane I could do a hack like that myself. I may do it in future, buff levels, progression and variety and alter movesets and TMs.

Heck, I'll get on that tomorrow maybe. Tonight I get to stream Zelda 1 Randomised!
