Anybody planning on playing the new FE game? I could.
Eventually. I gotta clear out more of Ye Olde Backlog first, including a couple of other FE games. I'm currently in the middle of Fire Emblem GBA, and I still need to play through Sacred Stones and FE: Fates (Conquest).

@FGPackers: Indeed! I'm quite enjoying the game, though one chapter gave me some fits due to some admittedly ill planning. I ultimately didn't lose anyone, but it took a few resets and some extra time to grab a couple of missed chests. I'm currently poised to start chapter 19 on Eliwood's route when I next play.
Well, I'm finally back from a long break (I think), which is ironic going into exam season, but I'm looking forward to playing Splatwoon with peoples from here, as that was the main reason I enjoyed the original game so much.
But, on topic, the most cardboard-tasting thing out there is the foam bananas I used to see in sweet shops when I was young. I'm actually a little nostalgic for them now. You'd never be disappointed in them, because they always had the same cardboard taste that never changed. I haven't seen them in about 7 years or so.
@Nintenerdguy
Talk with your mom. Tell her you saved the money up, so it should be your decision on what you spend it (Respectfully, if it wasn't obvious, though). Ask her why she's so reclutant on the topic. If it is because of school, just try to work up a compromise and that you'll save up on your own for games.
I think I'm a bit burned out on games and stuff in general. I've barely had energy to do anything lately, even though now I finished university and have a lot of free time. Heck, I was really excited to be able to push through my backlog....
@Nintenerdguy: First, I wouldn't go behind your mom's back and buy one with your dad. She'd find out soon enough, and then both of you would be in the doghouse.
Luna's advice is mostly what I'd offer past this point; talk things over with your mom in a respectful, logical manner. If your mom is just concerned about teaching you how to manage money, perhaps you should save a little longer, buy a system, then put the rest of it in a bank account.
@Luna_110: Ugh, game burnout. I think almost everyone goes through it at some point (I definitely have). Usually focusing your energies on something else for a little while seems to work in my case.
Wow. It looks like Arsenal have finished the season outside the top four in the Premier League. At least they won't have to experience being knocked out of the last sixteen all over again (and again) though. It must sting for the fans though, not being in the Champions League for the first time in twenty years...
I simply cannot wait for those glorious European nights at Anfield. Klopp and the Kop are going to be in heaven!
I should likely toss this in the music thread, but I couldn't find it with a quick search. I just heard Jupiter (based upon Holst's Jupiter) by Ayaka Hirahara. I'm floored. I gave it a try because I love The Planets suite (surprise surprise right?) but wow her range is very impressive. I had to snag her Dear Jupiter album after hearing it. Not going to lie, it brought me to tears the first time I heard it.
