I feel so stupid.

I haven't been able to play any of the Square Enix RPGs I have on my tablet since the spring, because none of them were getting past the online check-in screen (it's part of an anti-piracy measure). Naturally, I assumed the issue was on SE's side, and even after emailing back and forth with them a bit, the issue couldn't be resolved, until today...

When I woke up, I noticed that the date on my tablet was wrong (it was a day ahead for some reason). Once I put in the correct date, the games started working again.

Looks like I'll finally be able to beat DQV now.

So YCG has to make their own amiibo and decide what to do with them regarding content. And its the first of 71 amiibo to lock such entire modes behind it. Yes their complaints are justified, granted they will probably still by it anyway, or go the piracy route, I just wish it wasn't so damn insane when there are two sides to an argument. Some of those people acknowledge both sides, and others are the cornered porcupines who wont believe anything else.

I'm surprised that the Shovel Knight amiibo article even has 200+ comments, there's only so much you can say that hasn't been said already lol.
