Those who own an iphone will know that this thing is terrible for watching movies on, or anything else you want a nice, clear display for. Fingerprints...they just don't come off...then it looks horrible...

I am probably going to get this, and the number one reason is that I don't own an iAnything yet, way different then my consumer relationship with Nintendo. This is just like what Nintendo did with the DSi, and I don't hate either of them for this. But, I have a DSi already, and it's main function is to be my portable game player. Of course, by portable, I mean that it can fit in my pocket. On the other side, I never actually have an iTouch, or iPhone yet. If I did, it's main utility for me would be the multimedia player. Having a large screen is great for that. Not so much for pocket sized games, but for movies and books, I can deal.
The only Apple hardware I ever bought was my 3G iPod Touch (or what I like to call, "still the only product Steve Jobs ever made that is actually worth its asking price.")

Um, no, not exactly. See, most people, like Iwata here, call it a bigger iPod touch. The case in point is I don't have an iPod touch yet, so it's not like I'm abandoning it for a larger one that does no new things, and when when it comes to multimedia excluding games, I think bigger is better.

The iPad is not a cell phone. It is a....... I actually don't know. I wouldn't consider it a tablet PC, because it is just a bigger iPod Touch, but I wouldn't consider it a MP3 player because of its size. I doesn't have phone capabilities, I know that much.
