I'm an aspiring entrepreneur in Worcester, MA. I want to open a new store dedicated to model trains and WW2 vehicles, but currently face imminent backlash from a motorcycle gang known as the Legion of Metal, known for reputation of heckling town hall meetings and kicking out members of the city council. Any advice on finding store space out of town, and keeping those pesky biker nuts out of reach?

Note: please excuse the autocorrect generated by my iPad that changed "starting" into "staring". Apple, egotistical as ever, will not fix this.

@crimsontadpoles My attorney strongly advised me not to associate with any offending or suspicious persons due to risk of violating my business code of conduct and poisoning my overall reputation.

Don

What does this have to do with Nintendo or video games?

Are you sure that asking on a video game fan site is as good of a place to start?
For starters, you could try seeking a business consultant that has good knowledge about the retail sector. Knowledge of your town and the type of retail business you want to put together would be beneficial.
Speak to your local council, they should know where the least affected areas are in your town. It might also be worth asking about business rates, taxes, and anything that council deals with with regards to business.
How far would you be prepared to travel, having a shop in a neighbouring town might help.
Talk to an estate agent, their knowledge of retail property might help.
Use social media for your business like Twitter and Facebook, you can use these to gage how much interest there would be in creating that type of shop.

Sounds remarkably like advice a fellow councilman told me at yesterday's dinner. Unfortunately a kid next door got word and egged my house this morning. Said nice try, but bikers always win.

@Tasuki Out of all 10 council members, only one knows anything about Chuck Norris.

This is the strangest possible place to ask advice on this issue.

I'm thinking this has to be some sort of stealth reference to something that i'm just not picking up on. Otherwise i have no idea why you would be seeking advice on this website filled with children who can't spell and crotchety old folks like me who, despite being infinitely sexy and bald, are insufferably annoying.

She-Ra is awesome. If you believe otherwise, you are clearly wrong.

It most surely is a stealth reference: typing here is the only way City Council can take note and reply through email without any trace of my location. If I send them emails directly, The Legion of Metal will pick up my signal on their laptop hard drive, then break into my house. IT's ONLY GOT ONE FLOOR AND NO BASEMENT!!

What's even happening in this thread!?

Besides, "Staring" a small business is really easy, stand outside any shop or office and keep staring until they get creeped out ^^

@Kimyonaakuma
Managed to get a couple phone numbers as they were loading me into the back of the cop car.

Ladies love the bad boy.
also, sexy baldness.

@Kimyonaakuma Please do not criticize me over typos generated by autocorrect. Besides I never find these "tits or GTFO" replies helpful to anyone, only drunks and nerds playing MMOs 24/7.

Even twitter celeb Ken M would find this offensive.

@MamaLuigi It wasn't really supposed to be a criticism! Who knew that one missing letter could lead to something get blown out of proportion

As for the "tits or GTFO" type of reply you mentioned, I don't think any of my comments have fit that so...well I don't know..

And I have no idea who Ken M is so..
research time!

If Full Throttle has taught me anything, it's that bikers won't respect you until you prove you are a better biker than they are by knocking them off their bike while remaining on your own.

So find a good stretch of highway and challenge the leader to see who is the better biker. I also recommend bringing chains, clubs, cattle prods, or any other non-lethal melee object you can get your hands on because the bikie leader will do the same.

The collective noun for a group of lunatics is a forum. A forum of lunatics.
I'm belligerent, you were warned.

MamaLuigi

@shaneoh What kind of sadistic madman are you? Real life is nothing like EXCUSE ME video games, even attempting to reason with dangerous people will get you killed.

But heck, City Council always warned that if I get way over my head talking to internet junkies my sanity could break and I could turn delusional, just like John Nash.

Despite the fact that i am about 90% sure this is a joke/troll/WTF thread, were it not for the fact that i have already contributed to the thread, i would definitely consider nomination for the Hall of Fame.

Well done, good sir.

Though you lose 700 Shpydarpoints for using the phrase "twitter celeb".
