Not sure if this topic has been done or not but here it goes.
We've been getting into vudu movie dl's a lot lately and I've noticed that a lot of movies can be purchased well before retail copies hit. Should Nintendo apply this philosophy to their games to increase digital downloads? They've done it before with a couple of games so why not have 2 separate release dates and maximize profits. It also might help eliminate short stock as we all know that's been a problem lately.
It doesn't have to be to much earlier say less then a month but I can see for some major releases people jumping the gun and downloading much more often. It would justify the cost being the same a lot more if you're able to play it before others.

If I was only ever able to have Monster Hunter and EO games in the future, I would be a happy man.
