@Bolt_Strike Yeah that's true, and the Duck Hunt Duo's Smash moveset is mostly based around shooting. Maybe it could be something like all the ducks have turned evil except the one you play as, and you have to fight and capture them to restore them to normal. Which would be quite a strange premise for a game, but this is Nintendo we're talking about.
Thank you Nintendo for giving us Donkey Kong Jr Math on Nintendo Music
If the premise of duck hunt is that it's a light gun shooter where you shoot targets then didn't they already "revive" it on the Wii with that minigame in Wii Play? Anyways, I think they could do it again as a small title..... just hopefully not with the JoyCon because gyro makes for a poor light gun/or camera substitute

An opinion is only respectable if it can be defended. Respect people, not opinions
F-Zero is a big one. 99 was cool and all but no where near does the job a full fledged new entry would do.
Golden Sun. Again Dark Dawn ended on a cliffhanger yet again, I'd rather see a series be able to cap things off than keep baiting for sequels
Sin and Punishment. I get they're not the biggest sellers but they're still really fun rail shooters
Star Fox. For the love of all that is holy just make a new game, I've been waiting for one ever since 2006. No more bloody remakes, reimaginings, retellings, rewhatever of the same damn game, why in God's name did they think remaking the same game twice was a good idea? I'm so sick the constant regurgitating of the Lylat Wars
Mach Rider - that was a game that I played non stop when it first came out. A modern version with a track editor and multiplayer would be a blast.
Not a Nintendo made game, but one that I could never beat but really enjoyed (and I loved the title screen music) is Star Voyager. A reimaging of that game would be a blast - though many new games have a similar concept, so this is not likely to ever happen.
