The whole ending to GameBoy Link's Awakening. The music is pretty sad and the whole world dissolves away.

Those are just the ones I vividly remember off the top of my head ... I'll admit it, I cry a lot during video games. DX

I think when Yuna runs into Tidus' arms and ends up falling right through him as he fades away, that was pretty sad. But I also agree with the Link's Awakening ending. That was extremely sad to see it all go away like that. Probably one of the more moving endings I've ever experienced.

The endings of most Zelda games are always wistful. The death of Aeris in FFVII, and the island episode in FFVI. The ending (and one particular scene) of Shadow of The Colossus. The storybook plot in Super Mario Galaxy.

lol, not really but the story itself was a sad tale of lost/betrayed love and not bowing to vengence.

I cried on Valkyria Chronicles though when Isara died.

The scene in Legend of Zelda: Windwaker where Link has to say goodbye to his grandma when leaving the island for the first time. That was so sad...it still is.

I think it's weird how they make the PMD games so sad, but you're right.

I've never actually cried because of a game but I've got close to doing so.

The ending of Professor Layton and the lost future

Tales of Symphonia: - _{When Colette reveals her demise to you and when it almost happens at the tower of salvation.}

Xenoblade chronicles: _{When Fiora dies near the beginning of the game, even though you later find out that she didn't die.}

Tales of the Abyss: _{When Van tricks Luke into destroying Akzeriuth killing thousands of people in the process which makes Luke feel really bad but he feels worse when all the others abandon him because of it. Then there's the scene when you find out the reason for Guy's gynophobia (because of what the reason was it made me feel a bit uneasy too) as well as Ion's death.}

Portal 2, when Chell finally escapes. I guess it's actually more happy than anything, but it still brought a tear to my eye. Beautiful ending.

Left 4 Dead 2, when it turns out the helicopter WASN'T made of chocolate.
The Wind Waker, when you go to your Grandma's house later on in the game and the music is all sad and she's depressed.

in dementium the ghost girl was scared from the events that already happened,like what Shadx said about majoras mask and wind waker,star fox command with its many sad endings.

The Ending of portal 2 was pretty cool

Spoilers below and all that relevant warning shiz.

In Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Ring of Fates, where Yuri and Chelinka's dad is killed by Cu Chaspel. And when Yuri was temporarily alone since Chelinka was somewhat paralysed after overpowering herself using her powers over the crystal to somewhat incapacitate Cu Chaspel after their dad's death. And also this scene I can vaguely remember when the King's dead daughter appears to talk to Chelinka. Also when Chelinka sacrificed herself into a Crystal for Yuri. And the ending where Yuri, Chelinka and their dad and previously dead mother are reunited, thanks to Yuri's wish at the end.

Needless to say, I cried throughout this whole game.

Other M: When Adam sacrifices himself to destroy sector 0, still makes me sad, also when you go back for his helmet, that is very emotional for me

Skyward Sword: You Final conversation with Fi, I cried... I loved Fi....
