My name is Casey, and I am one of Philip's friends. I found him through his noiselesschatter.com website in 2014, and was a fan ever since. I was vaguely aware he wrote for Nintendo Life, and I'm kicking myself for not asking him about it, and I'm so glad that there are other things he wrote that I can now read.
One of the things Philip used to do every year was an Xmas Bash, where he would livestream truly awful old holiday episodes of sitcoms. He offered it to me to organize last year. I am doing two livestreams this year. One is the regular Xmas Bash on Dec. 17.
Another is a retrospective Bash, structured the same way, with some sitcoms that Philip showed in past years. He also recorded hosting segments (which were consistently funny as all hell), and if I can find any of them on any of his hard drives, I will include them in that livestream. The retrospective will take place Saturday, October 29, from 7PM to midnight Eastern time.
I invite all of you to come and watch and remember Philip with us. I knew he had many friends in other places, I just didn't know where. I finally had the bandwidth to start looking at obituaries, and now I am finding you all. He touched so many lives.
