Topic: Red Vs Blue

I just recently got into this show, and I have to say I really love it. For those not in the know, RvB is series on Youtube about two teams (red and blue) in a supposed civil war. The videos follow the hijinxs they get into. This forum topic will serve as aplace to talk about the series. It's really funny and if you haven't already, I suggest you go and watch it.

I hate to say it but, it's been on since 2004. Maybe earlier. Microsoft has been using them to officially advertise the Halo series for almost as long as they've been running. Halo has a game mode called Grif Ball that's inspired by the series. They're the Quinntessential Machinima (at least they were back when they were a machinima). How did you miss this for so long?

...with that out of the way, I started watching when they had finished Season 2 (or was it 3?) when they said they were done for good. I blew through the first two seasons about 3 times in a row and still occassionally go back to watch some of the best eps. Then I watched until season 5 or more likely 6, when I changed my browser and couldn't figure out how to import my favorites, and ultimately forgot about the series. I should catch up. What season are they on, now?

Oh yes this show the one that a friend of mine keeps shoving in my face even though i'm generally uninterested in this series. (Or Halo in general for that matter.)

I don't follow it. I watch featured episodes in Halo Waypoint on my Windows Phone and really enjoy them, but I prefer just watching random episodes of it occasionally.

Caboose was always my favorite character. I love how he's such an idiot, but without him most things wouldn't have happened in the series.

@MickeyMac They're on season 10 now. They've really come such a long way from the first season. The animation is quite amazing now. I really like Caboose too. He seems like an idiot, but sometimes he can say some really thoughtful things, and leaves you wondering about what he just said.

I got to admit that I am a little dissapointed to find out this is not actually a political debate topic.

I started watching it back in the day when, if I remember correctly, PC Powerplay magazine would distribute one episode a month on their cover CD.

After that I started downloading them but lost interest for whatever reason. I think it's because they did rolling downloads - i.e. a small number of episodes would be available at once, and it would cycle through which ones were available. When I started wanting to download the entire series I had to start way past where I had watched up to at that point, so I didn't bother.

I wouldn't mind getting back into it though. I remember my 18 year old self found it pretty funny.
