My favourite video game antagonist is...well it's a tie between King Morton "Bowser" Koopa and Dr. Ivo "Eggman" Robotnik. They were my first villains, so they kinda have a special place in my heart.

The antagonist of Tales of Symphonia who's name is a spoiler. Kratos from the same game used to be my overall favourite game character but he is now second as the antagonist of ToS is now my favourite game character. My second favourite game antagonist is the antagonist of Professor Layton and the lost future and third is Dimentio from Super Paper Mario.

I would have to say Lord Ghirahim.

Caius is the first that comes to mind. I'll get back to you if I can think of anybody who can top him.

Well, when I looked through your BL, there were some games I hadn't heard of so I asked just to make sure. Also, the protagonist of Tales of the Tempest is called Caius but I knew it wouldn't be him as this is about antagonists.

This is a real tough one. The best villian in my opinion for videos games, is Ganondorf though. Old favoirtes of course include Bowser and Eggman (you can call him Robotnik if you want...I really don't find it to be a big deal...he's a game character).
Ganondorf has never really shown any remorse. He's just bad.

Hmmm is g-man from half life 2 an antagonist? I mean he really only gives you questions and no answers to things but that's about it. If not I guess I liked the rouge nation from steel diver but then again that's an entire group of people (dang it this is hard). Ok, ok I think I got it how about darth vader from the star wars games, but o wait battlefront 2 you play as him. Why must this be so hard.

Came here to post him, really the most developed character in the franchise. I'm now considering him to be the true hero for SF imo.

Also, Hades _{(you know where)} is really gets me, he has the power to destroy all, but keeps his sense of humor similar to the Disney version.
