Welcome to Power Rangers: Nintendo Force, a play-by-post adventure starring several NintendoLife.com forumers! The action's been heating up lately: An owl's become a human, a Luma's become an owl, all but one Ranger became a baby, and the other Ranger lost control of his powers! There's been a mutant Pianta, a pair of humanoid Piranha Plants, twin evil Rangers, a disgruntled King and every Koopaling under the angry sun! A Ranger or two's been swallowed whole, a Ranger's become two, and another Ranger's become twenty or more! There's been Coins, Yoshi Eggs, Fruit and a couple of new friends! There's been personal growth, personal experience and a personal vendetta with one's self! Still to come: There's a marshmallow with shoes, a boy in greens, and a couple of foxes! There's a bounty hunter, a treasure hunter and a number of bit-people! There's balls being thrown, cannons being fired and dreams being chased! And maybe, just maybe, there's a grand adventure throughout the cosmos! The action's heating up, and the story's still relatively untold! Power Rangers Ranger Calls common to all Rangers To change back into a normal human: "Power-down!" To become a Baby: "Ranger Baby! Power of the Micro Star!" To call the Ranger's Yoshi (as a baby): "(colour) Yoshi! Help please!" To call the Ranger's Zord: "(Zord's name) Zord!" Morphing calls can be found with the respective Ranger bios NintendoPurist as NP: One day, NP was browsing the NintendoLife forums along with many other members, when he and three other forumers accidentally stumbled upon a thread that pulled them into the Mushroom Kingdom (but at the expense of one of their computers suddenly advertising Power Rangers episodes)! Unfortunately, their arrival was met with danger as Koopa Patrollers attacked them! After defeating them with skill acquired from years of playing Mario games, they were selected to become the Power Rangers, warriors with the ability to use the attributes of many Mushroom Kingdom powerups! NP becomes the Skyblue Ranger, with the powers of the Ice Flower. He can shoot balls of ice to freeze enemies, and can also drop the temperature of the air around him for five seconds - enough to cause any enemies to fall into hibernation. In a pinch, NP can call upon the aid of his Skyblue Yoshi who has the ability to transform into a turbo-powered egg after gobbling a Koopa Patroller, and as a last resort summons the powerful Buzzy Beetle Zord to defeat his foes. NP's Personality: NP was appointed as leader by PunnyGuy (to which everybody agreed), and though NP does take on that role with ample proficiency, if anybody praises him for his efforts or mentions him as being the Alpha Ranger, he usually responds with 'Their words, not mine!', preferring to think of the Ranger Team as a shared leadership and often missing the fact that he has been taking the mantle more often than not, particularly in tricky or confusing situations. He is fairly intelligent, possessing a wealth of knowledge about the Mario Universe, meaning his friends turn to him for information when Gadd and Hoot are not present. He is also very considerate of others' well-being, often putting others before himself. He is thoughtful and polite, and has a slight sense of humour when the occasion calls for it. He really is the leader he should be...if only he'd realise it... NP's Morphing Call: "Ranger Cyan! Power of the Ice Flower! OPTIONAL: Armour of the Buzzy Beetle!" NP's Psychic Power: NP has Empathy; he is able to 'feel' what the other Rangers feel, and he is also able to tap into weakened versions of his allies' Psychic Powers. As his powers grew, he eventually gained the ability to enter the minds of others in order to interact with them in seclusion, though this proves to be strenuous for him. StarBoy91 as StarBoy: StarBoy was the second NLifer to be given a Power Coin. He was chosen to become the Yellow Ranger, with the power of the Super Star. He can shoot balls of light to illuminate dark rooms and stun enemies, and can also make himself invulnerable to attack for five seconds. In a pinch, StarBoy can call upon the aid of his Yellow Yoshi who has the ability to trip-over and blind enemies by kicking-up dust when he eats a Koopa Patroller, and as a last resort summons the towering Hammer Bro Zord to attack large enemies from a distance. StarBoy's Personality: StarBoy is something of a ray of sunshine to the Team, always happy and cheerful, very kind and caring towards others, and a little bit playful to boot. If anybody's down in the dumps, StarBoy's usually the first to cheer that person up. Though his personality is positive, he is also a bit sensitive at times, and doesn't react to negativity well at all. His motto is, 'Smile, and all your problems go away!" StarBoy's Morphing Call: "Ranger Yellow! Power of the Super Star! OPTIONAL: Armour of the Hammer Bro!" StarBoy's Psychic Power: Starboy has Second Sight; he is able to see things that are otherwise invisible to other people, including Yellow and Red Lumas. http://gickr.com/results4/anim_fc100cae-cb97-b204-adb4-fa1922... DannyBoyTheDude as DannyBoy - DannyBoy was the fourth NLifer to receive a Power Coin. He was selected to become the Green Ranger, with the power of the 1-Up Mushroom. He is able to create a copy of himself that lasts for thirty minutes or until it takes enough damage for it to vanish, and is able to make himself grow to twice his size for ten seconds. In a pinch, DannyBoy can call on the aid of his Green Yoshi, who is able to throw a number of Eggsplosive Eggs after eating a Koopa Patroller, and as a last resort can summon the powerful Boomerang Bro Zord to repeatedly slice his gigantic foes. DannyBoy's Personality: DannyBoy is the pessimist of the team, usually responding to each adventure with the aloud thought that it won't work out well. If there's ever a situation in which DannyBoy is in trouble, he usually begins to think that he won't make it out alive; likewise, if somebody else is in danger and DannyBoy needs to save them, he usually doesn't trust in his own abilities enough, since he often gets the job done with little difficulty. Aside from his anoptimism, he is a very fun-guy (pun definitely intended)! He likes to party, and he loves playing games, listening to music, and just having fun with the other Rangers. He just wishes he didn't have duties to fulfill. DannyBoy's Morphing Call: "Ranger Green! Power of the 1-Up Shroom! OPTIONAL: Armour of the Boomerang Bro!" DannyBoy's Psychic Power: DannyBoy has Precognition; he is able to see what's about to happen up to ten seconds into the future, meaning he can actually prevent that event from happening. http://gickr.com/results4/anim_a3f23f88-2b50-ca14-3995-ab58c5... PunnyGuy as himself - PunnyGuy was the third NLifer to get a Power Coin. He has become the Red Ranger, with the power of the Fire Flower. He is able to throw fireballs to scorch foes, and can create a shield of radiant heat around himself which shrinks foes for five seconds. In a pinch, he can summon his Red Yoshi who spits balls of lava after eating a Koopa Patroller, and as a last resort can summon his Piranha Zord to snap-up enlarged threats sent by Bowser, which combines with his remotely-operated Dino Rhino Drone to form the Dino Piranha Superzord. PunnyGuy's Personality: PunnyGuy is, as his name implies, the master of groan-inducing puns, jokes and gags of every description. He has a down-to-earth personality, always telling it like it is with little thought for consequence. He is very upbeat and always likes to meet new people (he was the one to earn NP's trust the fastest), and it becomes apparent whenever his friends are in danger. He will protect them fiercely by any means necessary, even if it costs him an arm and a leg in the process. PunnyGuy's Morphing Call: "Ranger Red! Power of the Fire Flower! OPTIONAL: Armour of the Piranha Plant!" PunnyGuy's Psychic Power: PunnyGuy has Telekinesis; he is able to forcefully move objects and creatures with his mind, though this takes some concentration and is strenuous with larger objects. http://gickr.com/results4/anim_61ae684f-f69f-11d4-c9e7-a3415a... Gmls719 as GM - According to NP the Blue Ranger shouldn't have arrived until after the Pink Ranger, but sure enough, GM clicked the Minus Minus World link that dropped him in the Dry Dry Desert. He is now the Blue Ranger, with the power of the Blue Koopa Shell. He can kick Blue Shells at enemies out of thin air, and can change himself into a giant Blue Shell for fifteen seconds, being able to slide at incredible speed bowling over enemies while sustaining very minimal damage. In a pinch, GM can summon his Blue Yoshi who sprouts wings and can fly after munching a Koopa Patroller, and as a last resort can summon the immense Ninji Zord to slice and dice enlarged threats. GM's Personality: GM loves being a Power Ranger, so much so that he practically embraced his new powers the moment he received his coin. As one of the younger Rangers, he doesn't always grasp what the older Rangers are talking about, but he does try his hardest to be a vital part of the team. Most of the time, it's GM who finds things vital to the mission, making him an excellent tracker. He is also able to find weak spots on enemies, and, of course, he's skilled with throwing shells! GM's Morphing Call: "Ranger Blue! Power of the Blue Shell! OPTIONAL: Armour of the Ninji!" GM's Psychic Power: GM has Mind-Reading - He is able to instantly tell what people are thinking about, and he can also partially read the minds of Boss monsters to find out what they're thinking. http://gickr.com/results4/anim_435a1cb4-0f6a-8084-590f-5dde8b... Cloudcult10 as Cloudcult - Cloudcult stumbled upon the Minus Minus World link late one night, and was captured by Meaniki. The Rangers saved him and gave him his Power Coin. He has become the Magenta Ranger, with the power of the Cape Feather, able to deflect attacks made upon him, and he can also manipulate gravity for fifteen seconds, allowing himself and allies to float or enemies to be weighed-down and unable to move. In a pinch, Cloudcult can summon his Magenta Yoshi, who can change into a helicopter/mole-digger/race-car/submarine/train after scoffing a Koopa Patroller, and as a last resort can call forth his Spiny Zord to take-on his foes. Both his Spiny Zord and AerithAspect's Lakitu Zord can combine into a Superzord called 'Tatanga', though NP will point out that it looks more like Biokinton with a crazy-haired Iggy Koopa on top! Cloudcult's Personality: Cloudcult is mysterious, as he very rarely talks. This leads the other Rangers to be wary of him, not knowing what he's thinking. He also doesn't physically express much emotion, and this, coupled with the fact that he only says one complete sentence every once in a while, has caused PunnyGuy to secretly refer to him as 'Cumulus the Silent'. Cloudcult's Morphing Call: "Ranger Magenta! Power of the Cape Feather! OPTIONAL: Armour of the Spiny!" Cloudcult's Psychic Power: Cloudcult has Enthralling; he is able to directly control the minds of enemies for a limited time (depending on the constitution of the enemy, so the weaker the enemy, the longer he can control it) and cause them to attack their allies. There are some things he can't control, such as Boss monsters, Bowser, the Koopalings and Magikoopas, and he also can't control Power Rangers...not that he'd want to. Cloudcult10 as AerithAspect - While in the middle of studying Cloudcult's DNA for a weakness in the Ranger technology, Iggy Koopa accidentally multiplied him into two people, one of which was a girl who is essentially his female counterpart, who answers to the name AerithAspect. By NP's hand, Cloudcult's Ranger Power doubled, then split in two, shared between both himself and his new 'sister'. Aerith is Ranger Pink, with the Power of the Heart stemmed from her own Power Coin. She is able to throw healing Hearts at her allies to repair their injuries, and she can also stop an enemy's attack with a Heart Shield, which allows her to use that attack just once against her foe - this also allows her to use a single ally's thrown attack (such as PunnyGuy's fireballs) for ten seconds. In a pinch, she can call on the aid of her Pink Yoshi, who is capable of spitting a steady stream of enemy-poisoning juice from his belly after swallowing a Koopa Patroller, and as a last resort can summon her Lakitu Zord to attack foes from above. AerithAspect's Personality: AerithAspect's personality is a carbon copy of Cloudcult's...except for the fact that she loves to talk, unlike her brother. She thinks highly of each of the Rangers, and she loathes The Brawn for all the moves he makes on her (not to mention that The Brawn always calls her his 'sweetie'...nobody calls Aerith 'sweetie' and gets away with it!). AerithAspect's Psychic Power: Aerith has the Power of Enrapture. She is able to make almost any male fall head-over-heels in love with her (the main exceptions are Cloudcult for obvious reasons; and Labrat, who is already deeply in love with her without being enraptured!). http://gickr.com/results4/anim_73510e79-e76b-7374-1560-3a5c5c... StarFox as himself - StarFox was the seventh Ranger to receive his Power Coin. After clicking the Minus Minus World link, he was pulled into Tiny-Huge Island, where he was encased in honey jelly by a giant Wiggler. The Rangers eventually freed him and gave him his Power Coin. He is now the Purple Ranger, with the Power of the Lightning Bolt. He can throw electrical discharges at his enemies, shocking them, and can also summon a powerful lightning storm that shrinks his foes for ten seconds. In a pinch, StarFox can summon his Purple Yoshi, who sprays a stream of sleep-inducing juice after gobbling a Koopa Patroller, and as a last resort can pilot his Rex Zord to smash oncoming foes. StarFox's Personality: StarFox is very methodical and likes to plan things carefully, rather than 'rushing-in recklessly like Xkhaoz does'. He is organised and thorough with everything he does. He is also intelligent, capable of thinking things through in less time than it takes to prepare a cup of bean tea. In combat, he always fights with honour, avoiding taking cheap hits and not displaying cowardice whatsoever. He looks out for his allies, and that's a promise he intends to keep. StarFox's Morphing Call: "Ranger Purple! Power of the Lightning Bolt! OPTIONAL: Armour of the Rex!" StarFox's Psychic Power: StarFox has Electromagnetism; he is able to freeze enemies and prevent them from moving for a short time, and he can also build-up static in machines, making them run better or outright blowing-up their circuitry. http://gickr.com/results4/anim_3269a6cc-c0b0-0a54-91f5-9412f7... SonicMaster as himself - The Rangers headed to Rainbow Ride, a kingdom in the clouds, to search for the future Orange Ranger and Power Coin. Unfortunately, SonicMaster was trapped in a mazelike Boo House, guarded by a fearsome Big Boo! However, he was saved and is now the Orange Ranger, with the power of the POW block. He can charge-up concentrated power within his hands, feet and head to deliver some smashing blows to his enemies - no pun intended - and can also cause an earth tremor for five seconds, which is enough to trip-over and damage all enemies in the immediate vicinity. In a pinch, SonicMaster can summon his Orange Yoshi which has the ability to spray a stream of paralysing juice from its belly, and as a last resort can call-upon his Monty Mole Zord and remotely-operated Dry Bones Drone Zord, which combine into the heat-immune Blaarg Superzord to cook the most powerful foes. SonicMaster's Personality: Out of all the Rangers, SonicMaster is the least adjusted to his new role. After becoming possessed by a Big Boo, followed by becoming a baby, and then becoming Ranger Orange, he is slightly-removed from the tight-knit group formed by the other Rangers. Despite this, the other Rangers welcome him with arms wide open and include him as a valuable member of the team. He is athletic and displays a great deal of prowess in combat, and can throw a punch strong enough to knock-out a Koopa Patroller cold! SonicMaster's Morphing Call: "Ranger Orange! Power of the POW-Block! OPTIONAL: Armour of the Monty Mole!" SonicMaster's Psychic Power: SonicMaster has Sonic Pitch; He is able to create a high-pitched noise which stuns enemies for a short time (he can focus it to affect select entities), but he can also cause the sound to bounce-off walls and surfaces, allowing himself to move through pitch darkness without trouble. http://gickr.com/results4/anim_26c7b883-3fe3-9294-050f-8a07c1... Xkhaoz as himself - Xkhaoz was accidentally transformed into Hoot the Owl upon his arrival to the Mushroom Kingdom. After he and NP found the White Power Coin inside the maze of Pipe Plaza, he became the White Ranger, with the Power of the P-Wing. He is able to sprout a raccoon tail which he can use to wallop tough foes into submission, and also raccoon ears which he can use to hear far-away sounds. If he shakes his tail rapidly he can fly in the air, and he can also change into a statue to stop enemies from attacking him. In a pinch, he is able to call on the aid of his White Yoshi, who can breathe an icy-blue flame after gobbling a Koopa Patroller, and as a last resort can pilot his Blooper Zord and remotely-control his Gunion Drone Zord, which can combine into the powerful Gooper Blooper Superzord - a triple-win in Xkhaoz's eyes! Xkhaoz's Personality: XK is very enthusiastic, often jumping into situations with little regard for his own safety. If an enemy attacks, XK cheers first and plans second, since it's the perfect time to use his Powers. If anybody is in danger, he is the first to jump in and try to help before the others can blink. Even without his Powers he's skilled in combat, using his Martial Arts skills to protect himself and his friends with equal parts skill and concentration. Xkhaoz's Morphing Call: "Ranger White! Power of the P-Wing! OPTIONAL: Armour of the Blooper!" Xkhaoz's Psychic Power: Xkhaoz has Photo Prism; he is able to project a bright, multicoloured light which can affect the other Rangers by providing Powers not otherwise available to them, such as allowing NP to gain PunnyGuy's fireballs and thus giving NP 'water balls', or vice-versa to give PunnyGuy 'mist bombs'. Pikmaniac as himself: As soon as Pikmaniac entered Shiver Country, Bowser's minions were waiting. They imprisoned him as quickly as possible so as to avoid NP detecting his arrival, finding the Black Power Coin frozen in a block of ice. After the Rangers were possessed by Big Boos, threw him in the dungeon and took over his castle, Bowser urged Princess Peach to wish for the Rangers to be free. This caused the Rangers to expel the Big Boos controlling their bodies, not to mention causing Xkhaoz to retrieve his Power Coin from inside the evil Grimy Slime and bursting free, but it also had an added side-effect. When Peach wished for the Rangers to be free, she wished for all the Rangers to be free, including Pikmaniac, who snatched his Black Power Coin from Bowser and escaped. After turning into a baby for a short time, he finally morphed into the Black Ranger, with the Power of the Power Flower. He is able to throw Superballs, powerful black orbs which can ricochet off of walls, ceilings and other solid objects, though are mainly used to stun rather than outright damage foes. He also has some defensive powers. He is able to turn his body into metal, which makes him almost impervious to attack and allows him to walk underwater or through noxious fumes without needing to breathe, but it also makes him sink like a stone underwater (he can't swim while metal); and he can also turn himself invisible, which allows him to slip through wire mesh and avoid detection from enemies. The drawback? Each power lasts just ten seconds, so it's often used in an emergency. Pikmaniac can summon the aid of his Black Yoshi, who can fire a scorching-hot violet flame after gobbling a Koopa Patroller, and as a last resort can summon his mighty Chain Chomp Zord to bite into particularly powerful foes. Pikmaniac's Personality: Pikmaniac is very optimistic, always rallying the other Rangers on with a cheer and looking at dire straits as 'glass is half full' situations. This makes him the opposite of DannyBoy, who is usually pessimistic and doubtful. Due to Pikmaniac's positivity, he is also very trusting of others, and tries not to hate anybody if he can help it (of course, there are exceptions to the rule)! Pikmaniac's Morphing Call: "Ranger Black! Power of the Power Flower! OPTIONAL: Armour of the Chain Chomp!" *Pikmaniac's Psychic Power: Pikmaniac has Metamorphosis; he is able to create the facade that he is something else entirely, such as making himself appear to be a Goomba or even a Koopa Patroller, as long as he knows exactly what the thing he's impersonating looks like. http://gickr.com/results4/anim_85081585-adf6-3984-9d30-2d2a8c... labrat7 as Labrat - Upon his arrival in the Mushroom Kingdom, the Koopalings kidnapped two NLifers, one of which was Labrat. They fed him and another NLifer an elixir which would drive them to fight on the side of Bowser, and he became Ranger Brown, better known as 'The Brawn'. As his name implied, The Brawn was very powerful, and always dealt a devastating blow to the Rangers, but he was unbelievably inept, often missing the plan entirely and opting to 'Smash! Smash! Smash!' instead of whatever The Brains said. His ultimate downfall was also his greatest weakness, a young woman called AerithAspect, who eventually became the conduit (along with her 'brother' Cloudcult) for freeing him from Bowser's corruption. Labrat is the Brown Ranger, and his abilities have altered slightly since joining the side of good. He can throw a barrage of hammers in rapid succession, and he can also reshape a battlefield for ten seconds, altering it to suit the Rangers' purposes. As a last resort, he can summon his reconstructed Paragoomba Zord to bombard giant foes from above, making his Zord one of only two that can fly. Labrat's Personality: To be continued... He also deeply loves AerithAspect, a trait which he retained from his time serving Bowser, indicating he must have always felt love for her long before she and Cloudcult became two separate entities. This makes him something of a romantic...at least towards AerithAspect. Labrat's Morphing Call: Ranger Brown! Power of the Hammer! OPTIONAL: Armour of the Paragoomba Labrat's Psychic Power: Labrat has Polyglocy. He can learn any language in a short amount of time (usually fifteen minutes) and memorise it permanently, meaning he can speak to anybody with no language barrier whatsoever. http://gickr.com/results4/anim_4da09f54-f60a-c2c4-09e2-551d28... YoshiSage as himself - Upon his arrival in the Mushroom Kingdom, the Koopalings kidnapped two NLifers, one of which was YoshiSage. They fed him and another NLifer an elixir which would drive them to fight on the side of Bowser, and he became Ranger Grey, better known as 'The Brains'. The Brains was a brilliant tactician, and had all sorts of ideas to put an end to Gadd's Rangers, though he and his ally failed time and time again. Everyone but Bowser and his Koopalings thought that Grey was not human, but was a man-made (or, in this case, Koopa-made) creation. However, NP and his Rangers have restored YoshiSage. Now, he and Labrat fight against Bowser. YoshiSage is the Grey Ranger, and while his abilities are passive, they are potent nonetheless. He can produce a variety of coloured mists (though the selection and colouring has changed a bit since returning to normal). He can produce a blue mist which casts anything that breathes it into a deep sleep; a green mist which severely poisons anything that breathes it; and a red mist which weakens anything that breathes it, draining their strength. These mists can be combined into a pain-inducing yellow mist (red+green); a paralysing cyan mist (green+blue); a stunning pink mist (blue+red) and a freezing white mist (red+green+blue), though these combination mists are harder to produce and just as likely to affect YoshiSage and the other Rangers as their foes. As a last resort, YoshiSage can call on his Bandit Zord to play with a giant foe's mind. YoshiSage's personality: YoshiSage is a generally kind person, but he has a sharp, sarcastic sense of humor, and can be extremely bitter. He is highly objective and remarkably intelligent. Though he does not think highly of anyone, he has a weakness for women. He is friendly to those who are close to him, as well as his allies, but he can become extremely violent and foul-mouthed when provoked. YoshiSage's Morphing Call: Ranger Grey! Power of the Poison Mushroom! OPTIONAL: Armour of the Bandit! YoshiSage's Psychic Power: YoshiSage has the ability of Illusion. He can create projections of just about anything, meaning that an army of Koopa Patrollers would quickly become confused at the sight of an army of Power Rangers, for example. Gadd - The famous inventor of the Poltergust, the FLUDD, and the Bean Juice Machine, amongst other things, Prof. Gadd has managed to turn back the clock on his age, making him twenty years' younger! He was the creator of the Ranger technology, which is derived from the raw power of 'Power-Up Items'; as well as the Zordnemy-Robotic-Mechs, or Zords for short (Gadd will often talk about how he cleverly combined 'Zord' with 'Enemy' to form 'Zordnemy'...though not even he knows what 'Zord' means...). He also invents Gaddgets which work quite well, even when untested, though sometimes they backfire or offer an unintended function in the Rangers' favour! Xkhaoz as Hoot the Owl - Affectionately referred to as 'owl' by his mentor Gadd, Hoot has become a companion to the Rangers on their mission to defeat Bowser and save the Mushroom Kingdom. Hoot has nests located in a number of places, including Whomp's Fortress, Tall Tall Mountain and even the frosty Snowman's Land! Nonetheless, he makes his main home in Gadd's Lab amongst the clutter of Gaddgets, Beanbean Kingdom beans and loose change. He wishes to one day travel to the nearby Good Egg Galaxy, visible from Gadd's Lab on clear nights. He also has a severe dislike for Yoshis due to a traumatic experience from his chickhood. A mishap involving Xkhaoz's premature arrival saw Hoot being transformed into a Brown Luma and flung to the far off Night Forest Galaxy, where he was eventually found by XK, Twink and NP. Once XK returned to human form and gained his Powers, Hoot reverted back to owl form, along with Xkhaoz's memories of being Hoot intact as well, meaning that Hoot knows a lot about the Rangers and what's happened since he was gone...and he knows enough about XK for them to be the best of friends. Of course, even if he doesn't display it physically, Gadd's glad to have the 'real' Hoot back. SuperPeach as Peach - After Mario disappeared, Bowser saw it as his chance to capture and imprison Peach once and for all - and he finally succeeded! As soon as Peach learns of the Power Rangers, she begins to make wishes for them in order to aid them. Usually her wishes are simple things, like 'good luck' or 'willpower', but it's often enough to help the Rangers save the day. Sadly, nobody knows what happened to Peach since the aftermath of the Boos' invasion of Koopa Kingdom. She must be even more captive than before. StarBoy91 as Twink - This little Luma is Peach's companion. Bowser does not know that Twink lived in his castle with Peach, as only Peach, StarBoy and NP can see and hear him! His job is to help out the Rangers by granting wishes. As such, Twink's job is dangerous, because if the baddies ever found out about this little hiccup within the Rangers' ranks, then Twink would be in terrible danger! NP recently gained the ability to see (as a glowing outline) and hear (as a shimmering voice) Twink, due to NP's mostly-latent empathic Power. Bad Guys NintendoPurist (and labrat7 if my hands are full) as Bowser - The big bad boss of evil, Bowser and his Koopalings constantly send monsters to attack the Mushroom Kingdom, and only the Power Rangers can stop them! NintendoPurist as Larry Koopa - Larry is hyperactive and loves to play sports, but he also hates it whenever the Rangers win - that's when he throws his whopper tantrums! It was when NP tried to stop his crying and called him 'the sad middle child' that Larry decided to make the Skyblue Ranger his nemesis for life. His role is the constant teasing and distraction of the Rangers while they fight to protect the Mushroom Kingdom. StarBoy91 as Lemmy Koopa - Lemmy is a sniveling suck-up to his dad, Bowser. He is also a coward who would rather turn tail and run than fight the Rangers face-to-face, unlike his brother Roy. When StarBoy tried to befriend him he took an instant liking to his new pal, but as soon as he realised they were enemies he believed the Yellow Ranger deceived him and made him his worst of foes. PunnyGuy as Roy Koopa - Roy is the self-proclaimed warrior of the 'Koopaling Ten' (of which the Magikoopas Kamek and Kammy are a part despite having no blood ties to the other eight). While it's true that he does have some considerable power, he is often lacking in the smarts to be able to defeat the Rangers. He sees PunnyGuy as his biggest threat since the Red Ranger has the most 'fire'-power of the team. DannyBoyTheDude as Iggy Koopa - Iggy is a child prodigy (of sorts) who is rather adept at creating monsters for his father's evil schemes. DannyBoy was the one to make the first strike against Iggy's 'maiden' monster, Nastianta the Bad Pianta (the first monster the Rangers battled), and so he sees the Green Ranger as the biggest threat to his beautiful creations. Gmls719 as Ludwig Von Koopa - Ludwig is the evil mastermind behind 'Bowser's' brilliant plans. It is he who creates schemes so devious to test the Power Rangers...and he loves that Iggy's monsters are made to match his cunning schemes...even if his dad takes all the credit! Ludwig can't stand GM's love of defeating the Koopas time and time again and spotting every weakness in each of his plans, so he's declared GM as his official archnemesis. Cloudcult as Wendy O. Koopa - Wendy O. is a suck-up to her 'King Daddy', often criticising the other Koopalings for their constant bumblings and failed Ranger-stopping attempts while trying to sweet-talk the Koopa King into having everything handed to her on a Silver Star platter! She doesn't really lift a finger and do any work, preferring to let 'the boys and Granny Kammy' do the work! She is very self-spoken and doesn't like Cloudcult's attitude to not speaking or showing emotion...she despises Cloudcult as a result. SonicMaster as Bowser Jr. - Lil' Bowser Jr. is as evil as his 'King Dad', often repeating everything that he says with a little 'Yeah!' at the start! Because he is so like his father he has been appointed as 'Second-in-Command' to the Koopa Army, despite being the youngest Koopaling. Because all the other Koopalings had a Ranger enemy, Bowser Jr. decided to make SonicMaster his enemy simply so that he could be included as well. StarFox as Morton Koopa, Jr. - Morton is the black sheep of the Koopalings. Not only is his skin a different colour to the others, but his personality is completely unlike that of his family. He's sneaky, manipulative, and savage. He loves to destroy the Rangers' plans by turning them against one another, and using his magic scepter to distort any Ranger battle! He sees StarFox as a threat, being "almost as cunning as I, but using his skill for good instead of evil...if only I could turn him, he'd be a great asset to our forces..." Until such an event occurs, he sees StarFox as a rival. Xkhaoz as Kamek the Magikoopa - Kamek is Bowser's right-hand Koopa, and has perfected the art of the 'Grow Monster' spell...though he's not really studied any other spells - his mindset is 'if it's perfect, don't mess with it'! Kamek hates Xkhaoz due to the fact that he rushes into things head-first rather than standing back and planning-out every action taken...plus, he's the only Ranger who can fly and thus reach Kamek to injure him in close combat! Pikmaniac as Kamella 'Kammy' Koopa - Kammy Koopa is Bowser's left-hand Koopa, and is a master of hexes of every kind. She can increase emotions within Ranger's hearts, turn Ranger against Ranger, and even block the power of their Coins! Problem is, once she learns a spell and uses it, she forgets it completely - and so does her spellbook! Kammy likes to try and torment Pikmaniac by using a variety of hexes on him...but so far this has failed due to a natural immunity within Pikmaniac's Powers. This infuriates Kammy and causes her to loathe the 'glass half full' Ranger. Minor Characters Mario: Mario Is Missing...and so the Power Rangers have taken his place until he can be found. Planned Story Arcs Arc 1: The Rangers' Arrival: This arc sees the arrival of the Rangers to the Mushroom Kingdom one by one, and the quest to find each of them. Arc 2: Trouble in the Ocean: This arc sees the Rangers stopping Bowser in Dinosaur Land, Isle Delfino and even Sarasa Land. It is here that they learn about Bowser's plan to capture and turn evil two NLifers who would become the Brown and Grey Bowser Rangers, enemies of the Gadd Rangers. It is in this arc that the Rangers each receive a Yoshi egg, as well as a piece of fruit needed to hatch that egg: DannyBoy receives a Green Yoshi egg in Yoshi's Island and a Watermelon in Donut Plains GM receives a Blue Yoshi egg in Vanilla Dome and some Grapes in Cookie Mountain PunnyGuy receives a Red Yoshi egg in Forest of Illusion and an Apple in Chocolate Island StarBoy receives a Yellow Yoshi egg in Star World and a Banana in another dimension. Once Bowser realises his plan is to fail he moves on to Isle Delfino, where he tries once again to steal the Shine Sprites. It is here that he creates Zords for Ranger Brown and Ranger Grey. Three more NLifers receive Yoshi eggs and fruits here: Cloudcult receives a Pink Yoshi egg in Bianco Hills and a Mango in Ricco Harbor. StarFox receives a Purple Yoshi egg in Gelato Beach and a Pineapple in Pinna Park. SonicMaster receives an Orange Yoshi egg in Sirena Beach and, ironically, an Orange in Noki Bay. In a bizarre twist, two more Yoshi eggs are found here (Brown and Grey), one in Pianta Village and one in Corona Mountain, but with no means to hatch them they fall into the protection of NP. In one last ditch attempt for conquest, Bowser attacks the kingdom of Sarasa Land, prompting the Rangers to pursue him through all four regions, before he gives up and heads back to his kingdom. It is here that the Rangers restore Ranger Brown (in the waters beneath Muda) and Ranger Grey (in the skies above Chai). Two more NLifers find their own Yoshi eggs here: Xkhaoz receives a White Yoshi egg in Biributo and a Green Chilli in Muda. Pikmaniac receives a Black Yoshi egg in Easton and a Red Chilli in Chai. The Rangers each receive a 'treasure' from a wise person in Chai, and are instructed to guard them with their Powers. -NP receives a pink eggshell fragment -StarBoy receives a piece of coral -DannyBoy receives a nutshell -PunnyGuy receives a dud tank shell -GM receives a blue rock -Cloudcult receives a piece of bubblegum -StarFox receives a piece of scorched metal -SonicMaster receives an empty glass tank -Xkhaoz receives the handle of a shattered sword -Pikmaniac receives a clump of hardened dirt and leaves -Labrat receives a pair of goggles -YoshiSage receives a yo-yo -Gadd is given four additional items of his own: A red jewel; An arrowhead; A joystick; and a guitar-string. He is instructed that he'll know what to do with them when the time comes. Upon returning to Gadd Lab, the Grey Yoshi egg hatches near Gadd's bowl of ice-cream; and the Brown Yoshi egg hatches near the Chocolate on top of Gadd's ice-cream, suggesting not all Yoshis eat just fruit, and some may in fact have a sweet tooth. NP feels left-out about the fact that he is the only one without a Yoshi companion, but the other Rangers reassure him that he may eventually find his own egg. Arc 3: Exploring the Multendoverse: This arc involves the Rangers each visiting a parallel universe (except for NP who technically doesn't actually leave the Mushroom Universe)...but I don't want to spoil too much of it, so you'll have to wait and see ;) Arc 4: Codename: CRYSTAL COCONUT: I'm not going to spoil this one yet! Here's how it works: The Power Rangers add posts to the story as though they were in it. So if we're being attacked by Koopa Patrollers and an evil Reznor monster, it may be something like: NintendoPurist: Oh no, this monster's too tough to beat! What do we do now? StarBoy91: Time to morph! PunnyGuy: Red Ranger! Power of the Fire Flower! MORPH StarBoy91: Yellow Ranger! Power of the Super Star! MORPH NintendoPurist: Skyblue Ranger! Power of the Ice Flower! MORPH You're finished, Reznor! (Bad Guy Actor): So, Rangers, you think you can defeat me? Well, if I create four of me, then you're a Ranger short! DUPLICATES PunnyGuy: You can't defeat us, Reznor! (Bowser Actor): Well, maybe this will change your mind! I cast a Magikoopa spell to make Reznor grow! REZNOR GROWS NintendoPurist: It's time to end this! We need the power of the Zords! Buzzy Beetle Zord! PunnyGuy: Piranha Zord! StarBoy91: Hammer Bro Zord! ...and so on. Those who volunteer to be characters must follow a few simple guidelines. When speaking, use quotation marks (") to close your speech...and the Ranger actors (who also play as the Koopalings and Magikoopas) must say which character is speaking by typing the character's name, followed by a colon ( : ) and then the speech. To describe your character's action or an event happening, use bold words (just pop a * at the start and end of the sentence). For your character's thoughts, use italics (just pop an underscore at the start and end of the thought). For whispering, use small words (Just pop a ~ at the start and end of the sentence). Also, separate each character's speech and thoughts (and actions) with a blank line. And for talk outside of the story, type underneath a line. A typical post might be something like this: NP: "You're going down, Larry!" What's he thinking about? If he makes the first move...freeze him. Larry: "But you can't win! It's not fair! WAAAAAAAAHH!!" If that skyblue freak makes the first move...WAAAAAAAAHH!! Both NP and Larry attack each other at the same time __________________________________________________________________________________________ Okay, remember that your Piranha Zord's in the repair garage in the next scene PunnyGuy, so you need to pilot the Hammer Bro Zord alongside StarBoy. Xkhaoz, I suggest that Kamek make the monster grow in the next post so that the Rangers can summon their Zords. Remember that since the Piranha Zord is still being repaired, the Megazord can't be formed. And...it's over to you Xkhaoz! Or should that be Kamek? :) ...something like that, just to keep the posts clean and readable. Note: All parts have been filled for now. Be sure to check back, as new characters may be added!

There are four small people inside YoshiSage's head. All of them look exactly like YoshiSage. One wears a red shirt and is drumming on his legs while humming something. One wears a blue shirt and has his face buried in his arms, and a can of beer in one hand. One wears a green shirt and has a laptop in front of him. One wears a purple shirt and is talking to the others.

Purple: Should we write something on this note about our crush on AerithAspect?

Blue in a slurred voice that indicates he's been drinking: No, because then... hic Labrat would get pissed and attack us, then we'd accidentally... hic kill him, then NP would kill us.

Red: Aw, come on, Blue. You're being ridiculous. What do we have to lose by writing something about our crush on her? Number one, I'm sure she'll understand, as she's probably had a lot of men chasing after her over the years...

Green: She was created approximately two weeks ago, smart one. She can't have had a lot of men after her "over the years."

Red ignoring Green: ...and Number 2, it's not like we're going to see them again.

Blue: They'll hic hunt and kill us! After all, we almost destroyed them, didn't we? hic

Green: Actually, they wouldn't. After all, every time the Brains tried to kill them, he failed. So he didn't kill anybody, and now that the Brains is gone, we're no longer a threat to the Rangers, so they have no good reason to hunt us down. That, and Isle Delfino has a fairly large population of about six million livings organisms (not counting plants) total. What are the odds that we'd run into a group of thirteen? Very slim indeed. Grouping all these facts warrants an estimated figure of a 1.5% chance of ever seeing them again.

Red: Hah. I win again.

Blue: hic Don't get smart, ya... hic red rapist.

Red: I'M NOT A RAPIST, YOU BLUE BASTARD!

Blue: Says hic the same guy whose bright idea it was too try to touch AerithAspect's... parts.

Purple: Blue, that was when we were still the Brains. Would you let it go already?

Blue: Sonsa*hic*b*tches...

Red: Why are we even writing this note in the first place?

Purple: Don't start again. We've been through this discussion.

Green: You were out-voted 3 to 1. We write the note, OK?

Red: Grr...

Purple: So it's settled. We write about our crush on AerithAspect.

Red: As long as you leave out the thing that Blue mentioned...

Purple: And the rest will be generic good-bye stuff. Wait, should we give our location?

Green: Absolutely not. Our goal is to get as far away from them as possible. Giving them our location would be a monumentally stupid move.

Red: That's a stupid question. No.

Blue: Go ahead, I don't hic care.

Red/Green/Purple: WHAT?!

Blue: If we give them our location... hic they can just kill us and end my misery here, dammit! hic

Red: Gimme that beer! throws can

Blue: H-HEY!! Why'd ya do that? hic

Red: I'll give you another one if you stop being an idiot.

Blue: Grr...

Purple: Right. So we don't write our next destination.

Green: It's kind of a no-brainer. Why'd you even ask?

Purple: Uh... come to think of it, I don't know. Oh well. How does this sound to you guys? reads Green, Blue, and Red the final draft of the note

Green: Satisfactory.

Red: It'll do.

Blue: hic It's fine...

Purple: Finally, we can all agree on something.

In YoshiSage's room, he writes the note, packs some food, checks out, and leaves.

The dialogue above is a "visual aid" of what's going on in my character's head. He often has little clashes in his mind about his decisions, and these characters are a visual representation of that. The dialogue between the four can be quite extensive, so I'll only type it before or after an ep for the purpose of 1) my own amusement, and 2) preluding what will happen in the next ep. I'll give a brief description of each colored YoshiSage.

Red is the positive man of the four. He is quite brash, bold, and outgoing, and would not hesitate to do anything. He and Blue often fight.

Blue is the negative man of the four, which explains why he drinks so much. He is timid and would rather live under a rock than do anything, out of extreme and often irrational fear. He and Red often clash with each other.

Green is the objective man of the four. He is very factual and doesn't have much emotion. His knowledge often resolves Red and Blue's conflicts.

Purple is the leader of the four. He is quite sarcastic, and represents the soul of YoshiSage himself. After his group settles on a decision, he governs YoshiSage to carry the action out. If not for him, the others wouldn't exist.

All that crap aside, when do we start? (And I hope we don't get another "day off"...)

The Rangers arrive at the Windmill

DB: "There's definitely a presence up there!"

Labrat: "Right. Let's GET HIM!!!!"

NP: "Labrat, wait!"

Labrat races up the ramp to the windmill's roof and finds a large Piranha Plant with a rotund belly and big, pink flower petals on its head. The others catch up and find Labrat staring at the Piranha Plant as it talks in Piranhish

NP: "Labrat! Get back here!"

Remarkably, Labrat speaks back in Piranhish. The Piranha Plant stumbles back, before talking again

Labrat: "Okay, her name's Petra Piranha...and she's taking revenge for what we did to her distant relative Petey."

Yoshi: I think I'll head for Pinna Park... might provide some four hours of entertainment. I doubt the Rangers will be finished at Bianco Hills in that time, much less even come looking for me. Wait... maybe I should just stay in Pianta Village or Noki Bay for a day or two.

Do you have a particular destination planned for my character? Or can he just go wherever he wants?
