(due to the more-or-less linear nature of Pokemon, I don't think full 3D is possible gameplay wise.)
Okay... In that game, we can't even travel on foot between the towns, thus no wild pokemon and stuff. Those little fences in the 2D game seem huge because of the helicopter view illusion, leaving their height ambiguous. In 3D, being blocked by a barrier half your size would be pretty pathetic. Those are some issues that can't be resolved.
Um, being blocked by little barriers happens all the time in RPGs, last I checked. The s*** doesn't have to make sense, it just has to work. And those other issues you mentioned were problems with the limited space of the GCN discs. Even a 3DS cartridge could probably handle a full 3D Pokemon game.
I had a good laugh with this. Pretty much all of the top ones are whacked out. The bottom ones start out okay, but just get weirder as they go, especially the girls. In fact, the girls startout weirder that most of the Top-row boys even - what was with Crystal's hair? I've been asking that question for years and I still can't get used to it.

I can use two water types. On the upside, the Pokemon are Squirtle and Swampert. For my rematch, I get Lantern, Swanna, Tentacruel, Pelipper, Kabutops, and Feraligatr.
Who's your favorite main guy and girl? Mine are Red from the first games and Dawn from D/P. Actually, Rosa(Mei) seriously rivals beating her out right now. Going off design.
