That's really good! The legs are a little out of proportion, but other than that, it's great!

Pixelman, I don't know how you do it. GIMP is so complicated! It took me almost an hour just to figure out how to make this simple animation. I think I'll stick with MS paint for pixel art, and GIMP for animations.

I have a question about GIMP, I agree with 110, it is confusing.

How do you change the order of layers? I need one pic to be on the top of the other, but I can't get it to go on top.

I was wondering that also. I was trying to put a layer on top, but I couldn't figure it out. The "simple" tutorial on GIMP.com was not very "simple" at all.

In the layers dialog, the layer at the top of the list is the top-most layer, and the layer at the bottom is the bottom-most layer. Move them up and down as desired.

Yeah, if you are familiar with Photoshop, in Gimp it works identical

That is spectacular, pixels. It somehow reminds me of Dragon's Curse (or Wonder Boy III: The Dragon's Trap) on the VC. That is awesome.

@StarBoy: The character design is actually inspired by Wonder Boy in Monster Land for the SMS, so you're not far off. :3

Edit: Now has torches and new brick tiles. Background looks better too.

Edit 2: Just cleaned it up a little, moved the status box to the bottom.
