Topic: Pancake Day / Shrove Tuesday / Mardi Gras / Fat Tuesday!

Here in Britain we're just about coming to the end of Shrove Tuesday and for most of us that means PANCAKES!

I know traditions for today vary around the globe so I was wondering what if anything you all did today?

I myself had three massive pancakes this evening and am still stuffed.

By sheer coincidence I also had PANCAKES! For breakfast, though.

I'm giving up sweets and snacking for Lent, so I bought a doughnut and a candy bar.

…I guess that wasn't really a tradition. Tomorrow, though, I shall enjoy my last Ash Wednesday of not having to fast.

What's a shrove?

Hate the religious connotation associated with Pancakes.

Pancakes are much more worthy of worship than anything else.

@Aviator Yeah I'm not religious, but a good excuse to have pancakes is fine by me - praise be to pancakes!
