I have no idea what kind of game is this but they just drop announcement about new Grinch Christmas game on multi consoles due to 13 October 2023.

I have never expected Outright Games have a lot of announced new kids games during this year.
Nope, to have it in time for Christmas. Retail in the US often starts their holiday season stuff after Halloween, with some stuff selling before then too. The October 13th date is to basically guarantee it's on shelves for the holiday season.
If the game came out in December, stores would be less likely to keep it in stock due to it being a Christmas item (that gives it a month or less of shelf time). It's rare when I find a Christmas DVD during anytime of the year because stores only stock them around November and December.

I knew the gameplay it still 2D style platformer but it has PS5 version as well.

Btw, i really like to see the effort from Outright Games to keep supply the modern consoles on Nintendo, PlayStation and XBOX with kids franchise games especially the old franchise.
More kids games by Outright Games is really make my PS5 purchase really worthy as i built my PS5 games library with 99.99% 3rd party kids games with majority from Outright Games.
And that's why i became the supporter of this publisher.

It looks quite good from the trailer I watched.
Some customization, the 3D exploring world, finding the clues, some creepy stuffs for kids, the revival of old IP.
I will get the PS5 version as possible.

Mini games, customize your looking, customize your house, roaming in the world, etc.

The gameplay looks similar as Captain Toad but I think there is some automatic movements in the game and our job just only lead them the way.
