I couldn't vote on the previous match-up, since I'm not sure I'd even heard of Rune Soldier before today and Redline won't be arriving from Netflix until Tuesday.

well im not gonna vote either just cause i didnt watch ponyo(i seen that on the wiki its made by the same group that made spirited away so i will maybe watch it later) and P&S not really my thing

Oh yeah, voting. I couldn't stand seeing more than 5 seconds of either show. I didn't even like watching the trailers I looked up. P&Sw/G gets the edge due to a fantastic soundtrack, Stockings apealing to me in ways I don't want to talk about, and the fact that it exists.

Ponyo. Watched it in Japan in Japanese, so it didn't always make sense to me, but the quality of animation is perfect and the Ponyo exhibit at the Ghibli museum is awesome.

While Pant & Stocking has a surprisingly good soundtrack, my vote goes to Ponyo. While not a Ghibli masterpiece, it's still a Studio Ghibli movie. The little I saw of Panty & Stocking just made me want to watch something else other than Panty & Stocking.

Ponyo! I think every Ghibli movie is going to be terribly boring for me after that one.

GOD MY OHHHHHHHHHHHHH! I hope Gainax makes season 2 eventually, or I'm going to be a sad pony! I know the official season 1 english version is coming, but I actually can't see it topping the voice acting of the Japanese version, and I need mai season 2 (especially the way things concluded)!

The soundtrack is INCREDIBLE! Top to bottom, I'm addicted to the show, the characters, and even the bizarre (often gross) storylines. Given my usual, far more family-friendly cartoon viewing habits, P&SwG definitely appeals to the "dark side" in me. And I don't usually laugh at cussing, unless it's from some of the masters, like Joe Pesci, Richard Pryor, or George Carlin (RIP, Richard & George), but it cracks me up listening to them cuss in this anime (especially Panty, who accounts for like 90% of cussing in the show ).

Panty and Stocking hands down. I love the soundtrack to it (both albums), and it is still the only show that I have watched in subs because I wanted to see it that bad.

Also love the cover art for the albums (especially Worst )!

I don't know how you guys can vote on either of these shows, but in the end, it's best to not dwell on such things.

Ponyo is the best show since Little Mermaid but on the same show masterpiece as Citizen Kane but deserves to win a show award at the Oscars-ok the joke is it's a movie.

While I like Panty & Stockngs a bunch just 'cause of the sheer fact something that out there is actually real and televised (at least in Japan) Ponyo was real nice. Or so I hear. I never saw it. I remember my ex talking about it and saying she loved it a lot. ... Aw man, memories. ;___; (Man up Retro!) I'll watch the movie one day. I kind of don't want to vote on this one.
