Which is exactly how you would feel if you were repeating the same day over and over.
My vote goes to Haruhi, such an awesome series. :3
That's something that always interests me. A series that goes out of it's way to do something annoying or bad for...some reason, possibly for story reasons in this case so that you can understand the neverending time loop more and appreciate how terrible and messed up it is. Suda 51 is really good at this, purposely making stuff bad for story or theme relevent reasons. But at the end of the day, they are still not...good beyond that.
That reminds me of what my friend said about Flower, sun and rain when he was playing it. He said something like "You hate the game and it knows you hate it but somehow it keeps you playing".
Howl's Moving Castle. It was a great book, but an even greater movie. FMA is too creepy and cult like for me.
Mind=Blown. Never thought anyone would say either of those statements. Nor do I even have the capacity to comprehend them. What could be cult-like in FMA? Creepy, yeah, it has those moments, don't get me wrong. I don't recall them being very frequent, though. But hey.
And for the record, yes, I did read the book. It's kinda short and I was really bored in homeroom for a few weeks in Junior year. And even after reading the book, I still had no clue what was going on in the movie.
I mean, I can think of plenty of things against FMA ver. 1.0. Philosophy so forced even the Matrix sequels would be ashamed, having villians kill each other because, the entire boring teacher arc, how flawed the later parts are after you start thinking about it, how unfunny and unneeded half of the jokes are, that Rose storyline in an attempt to be "adult", arguably creepy mother issues etc. But cult-like?
I hate FMA, FMA:B is the only one that I actually really like. Going with Howl's Moving Castle on this one. (but at least it wasn't Brotherhood, otherwise I would be making a really tough decision, haha)
Oh god.... This tournament is only going to get harder, isn't it? Ugh..Well I never really sat down and actually watched Summer Wars, but I loved Tamers, so I guess by default I'm going with Digimon Tamers.
Another round where I'm not familiar with either series. I'll pass.
...you're not familiar with Digimon?
Anyways, I vote for Digimon Tamers. I almost bought Summer Wars today, so that might have been close to changing, but then again, I've seen Digimon Tamers through at least 3 times, and still enjoy it. It's a real tough one to beat, IMO.
Wow, this actually made it? Definently Tamers, and all the way with it too. . After the literal halfway point in the series, it has you falling off the edge of your seat in anctcipation. (Though you have to sit through the first 25 with mild to enjoyable exitement.)

I don't know, there've been some pretty tough decisions almost from the get-go in this thing, at least for me. I thought it was brutal having to choose between FLCL/Mushishi, Kenshin/Samurai 7 and Howl/FMA, although I think my votes for those first two match-ups ended up leaving me stranded on an island lol.
Anyway, I'm voting for Summer Wars. I enjoyed that movie far more than I think I'm supposed to, but I don't care. It's fun, sweet, imaginative and visually arresting.
