Cool stuff to be found here. I am not going to bore you with my drawings, I haven't drawn stuff in ages, but @Zuljaras inspired me with both his crafts and game design so, here are some of my miniatures:
Some fantasy miniatures in a dungeon I also scratch-built.
Some more parts of the dungeon.
A necromancer sending zombies to fight the heroes.
Besides that I also make music. Currently I have some techno and hip hop music online, even a happy hardcore track, since I like to experiment in many different fields of music. Not sure if I can link that here though...
@Zuljaras , if you want to have some music for in your game, let me know. Maybe I can whip up something suitably spooky.
@Daniel36 I can't see your images. Are you using Imgur? I had problems with it for this site and I started using Imgbb.
As for the music thank you for the offer! However right now I am working hard on drawing some stuff in order to have the tech demo ready! After that I will start the implementation of music to the game as it is very important for the atmosphere!
@Daniel36 I can't see them either, and I also get the same error page. Imgur is notorious for that, so you might want to look at other options, if you want to post images on Nintendo Life more often.
A very good option to try is PostImage. That's the most user-friendly and versatile image uploader out there, and it works flawlessly on this site as well:
Feel free to delete this post if you don't feel it qualifies as "art", but I made a video of my daughter going on a road trip across the country set to video game music and sound effects (only 2 sound effects were not from video games). I know it's not perfect and certainly wouldn't win any awards but I spent several months working on it trying to get it as good as I could. I am pretty happy with how it turned out, although I'd be happier if the video looked better on YouTube than it does, the compression really hurts it in a few parts . Anyway, here is the link, feel free to give any constructive criticism :
@brooks83 Well as far as it qualifying or not: art isn't restricted to drawings, paintings or sculptures, so I suppose video art or imagery also qualifies, so I've no problems with it, personally.
As for tips: you might wanna turn down the music volume a bit next time, it was a bit overbearing in my opinion, and because of that, it made both the music and sound effects sound rather distorted and/or low quality, and I thought the camera was a bit too shaky here and there, such as in the "Mexico mountains/canyons" bit, and in the casino, but other than that, it was actually an entertaining video, and I liked the Nintendo theme you put in it. Actually also made me kinda interested in seeing more from Forth Worth's zoo. Didn't even know they had such a decent looking one.
Then again: what I do I know? I'm an expat living in Europe, so I haven't been to the States in decades.
Either way, it was a positive experience overall and I never knew you could do so much and see so many things all in one day. Unless of course you cheated a bit with the editing...
On a side note: you also might want to edit that video link so it reverts to its original state, by removing the "&t=90s" part from the end of the link, because that part adds a time stamp, making the video start at the 90 second mark instead of at the actual beginning...
'The console wars are like boobs: Sony and Microsoft fight over which ones look the nicest and Nintendo's are the most fun to play with.'
Thanks for the heads up on the 90 second time stamp, I would have never noticed that 😂
I probably will go try and adjust the volume of the music, and if I could go back in time I would have tried to hold the camera steadier lol. I tried doing an image stabilizer for some of the really bad scenes but it just made it look even worse.
Definitely check out the Fort Worth Zoo if you can, it’s rated one of the top 5 in the country. Anyways, thanks for watching and letting me know what you think!
Haven't posted here in a good while. This year I participated in Inktober. I've always been interested in it but I'm just too lazy so I thought I wouldn't be able to draw every day for a month. I surprised myself by keeping up with the pace and I'm even proud of some of my drawings. Here are some video game related art pieces:
Bait - I started out with really simple drawings. Here I mainly wanted to try some texturing.
Freeze - I really liked this enemy when I first played Kirby's Adventure.
Enchanted - Shade from Fire Emblem Cipher as a witch. Based on this card.
Dragon - First larger scale thing I did. Started a bit late. I was too tired to add shading in the end so it's not quite finished.
Legend and Wild - Day 15 and 16 had words Legend and Wild so this was just too obvious.
Treasure - Some Treasure characters together. I haven't actually played Mischief Makers.
Catch - Continuation from Bait.
Here are also some colored drawings from August:
Madeline running away from Mr. Oshiro.
This isn't strictly video game related but I thought it kind of goes with everything else. The stepdaughter from Sound Horizon's Märchen in Just Dance style.
And of course I have to post some pixel art too. More Picross stuff. I may have posted some of these earlier. I tend to post these in multiple places so I'm not sure which ones I've shared here.
It's its, not it's.

@Late You're welcome. I especially like "Day 12" and "Day 15". These border on professional efforts, in my opinion. I would also be interested in seeing them fully pencil-colored or inked.

Guys I did my first thing with polymer clay. I call it "Post-apocalyptic Piece" as it is like a tile of a place.
It is creepy and I did it to see how the clay is baked and how it is painted.
