I saw Brentalfloss's "Ballad of Jeff" video a while ago, and I'm a pretty big Jeff fan, so I drew this around Christmas:
I think it turned out pretty good.

I'm no fashionista, but I think you did a good a good job with the clothes and hair. Certainly gives the character personality just by the look. Only complain is that the boots kinda look like she's bent here legs in ways that humans shouldn't be able to, but I know from experience how hard feet can be...
Thanks! Limbs in general are something I need to work on. Hands are the absolute worst for me, as you can see here. The legs do look very awkward, I didn't really notice at first! I was trying to do anything other than a boring straight line of action but I guess I didn't pay much attention to the anatomy of the legs.
Legs look fine for the most part, it's just the end of the boots are at a bad angle. It'd be tough to find the right angle, though. Just keep practicing (i.e. words I really need to learn to follow myself. :-x )
Love your work, Turnip-forest. Brilliant stuff for just doodles!

So I think for me, one of the bigger things that makes me procrastinate on my art is finalizing. I wouldn't call myself a perfectionist, but it's very hard for me to be satisfied with my own work which keeps me from finishing a lot of stuff I start. I thought getting a good digital set up would help motivate me to focus on projects longer. What's everyone's suggestion for programs/tablets for digital art? I have an iPad so I was thinking procreate would be a good start.
Sketchbook Pro is pretty damn good. I've messed around with Paper (app) and Photoshop on the iPad, but they didn't seem as easy to use. But in the end, the iPad is terrible as a drawing tool...
I've been curious about the pen ones, but I don't think I could adapt to drawing while not looking at my hand...
Have some more work I'd like to share! I've been getting into a groove. Really hope I don't lose motivation to keep drawing and practicing any time soon.
So, one of my favorite films is Killer Klowns From Outer Space. As far as monsters go, killer clowns were always so cool to me. I thought they were under utilized and weren't used well when they were featured in most works. Plenty of great ones though. So I felt like taking a stab at designing one myself. I started sketching out ideas a few nights ago for some hours. Then I fleshed out the design I liked most yesterday. This was original supposed to be just little sketches for myself for reference, which is why I just grabbed some lined paper, but I ended up starting to work on his costume too. Oh well.
It was kind of tough to design something that didn't look generic at first. And I still don't feel the character really has it's own "feel" yet, but it's not like I'm done working on it so I guess it's fine. There's two outfits because I was messing around with which idea to go with. Leaning towards the first one. Although the suit one is rather generic at the moment so it's not entirely fair. Let me know what you guys think!
(Hope I didn't make the scan too big.)
I made an animation in order to practice animating for a game that we are making at school. I use it as my avatar at least for now. I've always used my Heart Gold drawing as my avatar (I may have used Phoenix Wright dressed as Santa too for a little while) so I thought maybe it's time to change it.
Um...I have a bit of my problem. My drawing tablet is plugged into my computer...but it doesn't respond. I've been trying to re-install it, but it's not responding...I think it might be broken.

Perhaps you have a bad USB cord. Try using a different cord, then--if it still doesn't work--reinstall the tablet's drivers.
Okay. Thanks.

Check your battery in the pen if you have one. That might die as well.
Didn't see this thread earlier so here's two of my latest Nintendo themed pieces that I did. Fusion Samus for Mario Kart 8 and young Zelda (OoT, mid-timelines)
Hi there I'm new here! I don't know how to post images...so I guess I'll just share my Deviantart with you guys http://maggotx9.deviantart.com/
I've been working on a ton of Legend of Zelda fan art. I hope you guys like it
The first image is of one of my best friends, and was completed with black and white charcoal. Didn't spend too much time on it, but I think it turned out well enough.
Second is a picture of my part of a much larger project my entire English 10 Honors class did, and is about oppression if a specific group. My group was depressed people, and I got really into it. The project as a whole was inspired off the Yellow Wallpaper, a short story we read.
