Does getting mid points make the game bad now? Saints Row has never been a goty-rated game anyway. Make sensible comments. Its a decent game. You dont want to play? Fine.
Honestly? The game is probably meh but watching the prerelease hate this game got is genuenly hilarious. Lots of "totally real" Sants Row fans that were "worried" about the game for "totally reasonable" reasons.
Never really liked the game series since Saints' Row IV, but I can see why it has its appeal as a sandbox game. From what little I skimmed through from the review, it just seems like the author is just unnecessarily nitpicking the game for not being the game they wanted. A story in Saints' Row? Yeah, right. Storytelling hardly mattered since Saints' Row The Third, and I thought it wasn't a bad design choice for a game because you could just screw around without care. It's not meant be have a proper story. It's a sandbox game for crying out loud.

It looks like Saints row to me. Granted I am a nuSaints fan as in I didn’t play 1 or 2. So I didn’t see anything that didn’t look like the wacky franchise I know. Getting it day one so I guess I shall see.

I’ve only played Saints Row IV (as I’ve always considered it a GTA clone as a series) but all the wacky things that the reviewer claimed the next game needed to move away from were what made the game for me. The Dubstep gun is one of my favourite weapons ever!
