Whew. 24,730 words, 11 chapters, and 3 (of 6) parts done. All in all a pretty productive weekend, considering that I didn't get to devote the time to it that I had anticipated. With the exception of a few patchy areas and a definite feeling of first-draft rawness, I'm very pleased at how well it's turning out. I'm already looking forward to the rewrite.

I 'm getting to the part where i throw in the pirates. Then the evil flower queen. Then the dancing robot aliens.......yeaaa It's going good 11,700 words for today. I wont have as much time tommorow, but I'm sure I can do it as long as I'm interested in my own novel

I am so tempted to join this shiz. I have a tale (that I started long ago) that needs finishing, for me, I need too!! I have a week off work, so lets see what happens huh. Writing (a concept alien to me), must be explored, I know I can, but.........

Just over 24K. This second week is hitting me hard. I had my second worst day yet yesterday and began to hate my novel for this ridiculously long, drawn out dialogue that I needed to put in to get some information and character details in. Things should be better today, now back to writing!
I am currently working on a novel called STRESS-RELATED INSOMNIA and it's a somewhat typical boy-meets-girl story but I really spiced it up with a few personal experiences that I had and a few influences from romantical comedy films and anime.
But being serious, the novel wouldn't really count by standards as Stress-Related began in September but I am beginning work on a short novel with the tentative title, "The Ascent of Singularity". The title character has a rather careless accident which causes him to lose consciousness for an undetermined amount of time. When he wakes up, everything changes. Wish me luck!
Borderline on calling it off for this year. Got a bad start and not gonna have much more time than I currently do. I have the novel planned but cant do it jealous right now so I think I'll postpone it till when I have time. Might just let my small amount of freetime stay with gaming.

@O_B: I'm still chugging away, but it's slow going to say the least. i won't stop writing until it's done, but i've all but abandoned the idea of finishing before the 30th. i have hardly any time, myself, and don't ever get to start before midnight, so i'm tired when the writing begins and it just doesn't take long before i pass out, so, i'm only four chapters in. it'll get finished, though, and i'll keep being diligent until it is.
