@BlackFira: Actually your platinum status will remain as is. I just spent all my coins on the Mario posters and currently have 0 coins but my Platinum Status is still there with 890 coins earned for the Club Nintendo year.
The Game and Watch Gallery 2 is WAY to expensive. It should at least be 200 or 400 at most, not 800 coins! And I hope that we are able to get a pretty good game again for Platnium. I enjoyed Doc Louis, and I hope that there's at least a good game this time, and not just a lame prize like the Mario hat.

I'll definitely get Grill Hand once I get back to the States. It's only 80 coins! I find the Game and Watch games addicting, and I enjoy the GW collection 1. However, I much prefer having the games as downloads, so I can quickly just play a round or two of one of them. If Parachute and Octopus come out before I hit 800 points again, I won't bother, unless they don't have anything better to spend the coins on. I'm really not interested in bookmarks and posters. WHERE'S THE SNES CLASSIC CONTROLLER?
Once I register SS, I'll be platinum status. Those rewards weren't bad last year. For what it's worth, even if they are, I can't really complain, since I'd be buying all these games anyways, and anything I don't want I could always sell to a collector to make some beans.
I'll wait until they release the set of Metroid posters; it's the logical way to go after Zelda and Mario. I'll also pick up the second G&W Collection eventually, this time I'll probably wait until the price drops a bit...
