Random question: whats the best reward everyone have gotten for getting platinum or silver status form Nintendo club?
anything "great"?

I just got Ultra Hand and G&W Collection 2! I plan on getting the Mario posters in the future. Good update! Wish they were a little more frequent....

I already hit platinum status this year but I have a huge load of postplay surveys that I can do. Is it wise for me to save them till after July 1st when it resets? Cause it doesn't say when they expire anymore...

@suburban_sensei: Truthfully, if you're thinking about G&W they're more collector's items and you might not be satisfied with them as games, but it depends what you'd like. Collection 1 has 3 classic games, Oil Panic, Donkey Kong and Green House. Collection 2, if its the same as Japanese version has 2 classic games, Parachute and Octopus and 1 new mashup of the two, Parachute X Octopus. Either way, don't expect to play it for more than a few hours or every once in a long long while.

@cheapogamer4life: Depends on where you live. I live in the US. I got Doc Louis's Punch Out which is an exclusive downloadable mini game for the Wii. Its pretty cool, but doesn't have infinite replay value. My friend who was also Platinum got a Mario Hat which is currently collecting dust because he's too cool to rock a Mario Hat. Gold Status last year got a calendar, I hear its not too awesome. Japan gets some really cool things for their Club Nintendo, I imported Tingle's Balloon Fight, that was a Platinum reward for them, there are lots more too, a quick trip to ebay will show you how much better stuff they get.

@ShadowSniper7: I'd say yes on saving them, but its up to you really, if you need the points to buy more stuff, go through them. Also, it should mention when they expire on the main page, I last checked this morning.

I was just wondering because im like 100 or so coins for getting platinum status on my account. Didnt know if i should just save up for next year or what.

ah yes... I see the expiration dates now. I am holding off on all surveys that expire 2011 or later until the next nintendo year starts. I want to make sure I get platinum every year!

I got the Doc Louis Punch Out game, which is the most useful reward I've gotten from the service, imo.

I tried to get Grill-Off and the code they gave me wouldn't work.

Just went on a points spree. Got Ultra Hand, the Mario Posters, The Zelda Posters, the Mario folders, and I still have 300 left, with about 100 worth of unreedemed points. I'm gonna save 80 points for an Ultra Hand as a gift, and the rest I may just blow off on.... I don't know. Lol

I got Grill-Off but I did not redeem it yet. (I'll get around to it this weekend.)

I'll get the Mario posters in July since I'm already at gold status and don't feel the need to go platinum. I liked the calendar from last year, so I'm going to stick to gold again this year. (I figured that I'd be able to get more prizes in the long run if I stuck to gold each year.)

Smart move. I think that would be the best option for me as well.

I forgot all about Grill-Off coming out today, but I'll have wait till tommorow to get it now. And I don't think G&W 2 is worth the investment. It includes, Parachute, Octopus, and a new game that combines the two. I own a japanese copy and I didn't find any of the games too addicting

I got all three rewards because I didn't waste my coins on folders and notecards...I think my total coins (counting the ones I've spent) is somewhere in the 3000's.

im 50 more points short of getting 800 but im going to wait till the club year resets so i can get the plat prize then i'll order game n watch 2 and the grill off

I got Grill-Off with Ultra Hand! today.
As soon as I get 350 coins (I have 120 coins currently), I'm gonna get the Mario Posters.
