Topic: My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic

I read that last night. And you know what? I'm glad I did! ...Not that I enjoyed the INSANE amount of gore in it, but I appreciated it for being semi-well written. It also did a good job of keeping the characters in character despite the circumstances. Anyhoo, it was nagging me for a while, so I just broke down and read it, and I'm satisfied. Reading it should be mandatory for all newcomers! (Doesn't know how to do Devil Face...)

But everyone must know how insulting that link is to Bronies! D:

I'd prefer a return of Sabrina: The Animated Series and Trollz or lest remakes of those.

I'm a big 80's fan myself too but the old MLPs plain sucked compared to this.

Wait...forgive me. I just forgot that they might ruin all my Sabrina: The Animated Series memories if they remake it and mess it up. Perhaps, they should do a sequel series that focuses on the life and times of Salem the Warlock cat of Sabrina instead.

It was well written and all. Here's the funny thing about me. I LOVE horror movies. I could watch every Saw right in a row and LMAO at someone's head exploding. When it comes to animals, this is what happens to me even if a single hair on them is harmed...

So, I was in a BAD PLACE after Cupcakes. I had to find the absolutely happiest stories to read before I could go to bed. "Grimdark as eff" should've been my warning, but I've done this before, reading/viewing something I knew would be troubling and walking away emotionally scarred! Now I'm staying away from anything reading grimdark or sad, LOL!

I'll tell you, though, for really little children, there are some potentially disturbing things in the show! The Phoenix episode, Pinkie Pie going psycho over the party invite rejections, Fluttershy going psycho at the gala over the animals running (I love her to no end, she has the most potential to snap... you know what they say about the quiet ones). There is some material that could give a sensitive kid nightmares for a week!

Oh and I want you to know that I am STILL absolutely outraged by your link on the last page. Absolutely appalling to bronies!

This topic is really messed up. How many of you are grown men getting all giddy over this show?
My sister used to watch the old 80's show but I barely paid attention.
oddly enough I had no problem sitting down with my sis to watch Rainbow Brite.
For some weird reason I was getting into it also.

OOOOH OOOH! ME, ME! I'm 34 and giddy! Doesn't matter to me what a show is. I watch everything from CSI to Desperate Houseponies, Breaking Bad to The Big Bang Theory, Real Time with Bill Maher to MLP: MiF. And about everything in between. If I hear or think it'll be good, I'll try it whatever it is. Of course, that doesn't mean Barney or Blue's Clues ever stuck with me LOL! Fluttershy could make Chuck Norris go Squee!

I took a gander at one of the epidodes and I do like the art Style I'll admit.
Not sure I'd want anyone catching me watching it though.
I'd probably have some explaining to do.
I think I would have to draw the line at Magical ponies.
My eyes might pop from all the cuteness.

The Ticket Master, Dragonshy, Look before you Sleep, Feeling Pinkie Keen and Owl's Well it Ends Well are my favorites. I do have a problem with Feeling Pinkie Keen though, because Pinkie's ability is never explained. So I'm going to have to go with The Ticket Master as my favorite. I haven't seen the finale though, so that could change.

Probably a toss-up between Sonic Rainboom and Feeling Pinkie Keen! Love Applebuck Season, Dragonshy and Cutie Mark Chronicles too (CC Crusaders are adorable!). I can honestly say I've enjoyed every episode. Such a show of exceptional, consistent quality! Party of One is awesome, but Pinkamina Diane Pie scares the HE-double-L out of me (and that was before Cupcakes)! You know what? I'm going to have to watch season 1 again to make sure what my favs are (thanks 4 the excuse 2 do that, thesignpainter ).
