@Ark_Sin
So basically a younger Doctor Who?
Also, does it exist in the same universe as MLP: FIM or in an original universe?

Anime watching: Mobile Suit Gundam, Lupin III, & Jojo's Bizarre Adventure: Diamond is Unbreakable
Reading: The Golden Compass

A: No... He can't time travel at will. He's lived through all 253 years like everyone else. He can't predict the future (nor can he change the past) and he's much more cruel and reckless than the Doctor.

B: Yes, same universe as FiM. But because he's 253, the story happens in the future (to coincide with another fic: Trinity of Time).

Okay... I'm about to do some plot explanation here, so you might wanna sit down for this one.

Ready?

Here I go:

Morpheus' father, Poseidon, was once a renown adventurer. He traveled to many different galaxies and collected much treasure and fame. Over time however, his pride took the best of him, and so he set search for the greatest adventure (with the greatest rewards) ever: opening Pandora's box. Universally, people panned such a story as a fairytale and nothing more. However, Poseidon dedicated himself for many, many years to finding and perhaps maybe even conquer the powers inside the Box. He was one day approached by a suspicious organization and was promised a share of the treasure if he cooperated. At this point, Poseidon was blind to the obviously malicious nature of his situation and happily accepted without rhyme or reason. His partners were part of CODA: a "higher breed of Conquerors". They supplied him with data nobody in the universe knew about, and from various bits and pieces gathered by both parties, they determined the location of Pandora's Box: around the universe. At long last, Poseidon grew more and more suspicious, but it was already too late to turn back now. Instead, CODA dragged Morpheus' father to this weak point in the fabric of space and tore a hole in the sky. From the fissure emerged this dense, black cloud. It enveloped the commander of CODA in a dark-purple mist, and the fumes erased his pupils and irises. Realizing the consequences of his acts, Poseidon locks his enemy in a choke-hold and simultaneously kills both himself and the commander. At this point however, CODA already had all the resources they needed, and thus promptly fled back into hiding.

As a punishment for his sinful acts (because he didn't realize who CODA was and how powerful they were), Poseidon's child was subsequently cursed with Pandora's seal and having to bear it for the rest of eternity. Years later, Morpheus flees the royal castle alongside Princess Asteria. The two wish to share time together away from judging eyes, but they are quickly interrupted by guards the princess did not recognize. One of the armored ponies held a radar-like object in his hoof and proclaimed they "finally found him." Morpheus tries to protect Asteria, but he is captured while the princess is tazered and robbed of her memories. The guards then reveal themselves as members of CODA.

They trap Morpheus in a place called Fortress Zero, where daily experiments are done on him. 7 years later, a foreign chemical activates the Seal inside Morpheus and causes him to lose control of his body and kill everyone in the facility in the most gruesome ways. After he is finished burning the corpses and the building, he flees the premises but is quickly gunned down by CODA's military forces. Morpheus miraculously survives the assault; unfortunately, the Star Gazer falls into a coma. The intergalactic conquerors' research team replicates the exact chemical their staff at Fortress Zero drugged Morpheus with. While in his comatose state, CODA researchers expand the foreign DNA's functions, and they consequently give birth to Mephistopheles, or "Mephilis" for short.

Morpheus and the late Poseidon's enemies implant Mephilis' data core inside the Star Gazer. After a week of internal development, Mephilis becomes a fully functional bio-weapon with no conscience whatsover and using Morpheus as a base. The new head commander of CODA gets a hold of Mephilis and purposely corrupts its data for a personal vendetta. He always hated Poseidon for what he did to his own father, so he planned to take his anger out on the people of Saturnia. The former gives his underlings vague orders to build the most advanced and devastating weapon within 2 week, or else they would all suffer their own bio-weapon's wrath. Two weeks later, a powerful space canon nicknamed "Ragnarok's Fire" is presented to the commander. Disregarding the warnings of his staff regarding a crucial flaw, the man wires Mephilis to the weapon's power grid and takes aim at Saturnia. Powered by the raw power of Pandora (through Morpheus' Seal being broken, thus giving birth to Mephilis), CODA blasts the planet into oblivion and kills every last Star Gazer. This sudden burst of power drains both Morpheus and Mephilis of Pandora's powers and leaves them seemingly dead.

The commander's revenge was now complete, and he subsequently kills all the staff involved with the research. Not too long afterwards, the man shoots Morpheus' lifeless body far across the galaxy and onto a remote forest somewhere in Equestria. Unfortunately for CODA, their leader never expected the soon-to-be Captain to survive this incident; and he's been building up revenge this whole time...

/end of backstory summary

Out of 10, how big is your mindf**k right now?

EDIT:

A. He doesn't have to power to destroy planets anymore, and he never will again. His powers are limited to telekinesis, and although he's smart, he isn't some sort of gifted genius.

B. The reason why I'm telling all this is to put his actions into context.

C. When I say FiM universe, I mean I use the world as a template. This is, of course, my own version of it according to my own canon.

D. No need to ask about CODA. That's a story of its own.

E. This has nothing to do with the RP. Carry on.

Stuff like "no, you can't have some super-powerful thingy" or "no, your character can't have this, he can't be this, he can't do this" and stuff.

So what if three of my other OCs are immortal? So what if I have my characters fight ghouls and slimed with a roll of tape? If I can write it well, then there should be no problem. :3

@Ark_Sin
In a fanfic or an RP?

Also just a tad curious, are you a boy or a girl?
