Happy second anniversary!!!

Wow... Two years already?! Time sure flies fast when PONIES!!!

To celebrate this important anniversay, I got myself some more Pony episodes. Planning on getting extra shirts this weekend too. I'm wearing a "Vote Luna" shirt right now.

Anyways, it's been a blast being with you guys, despite the stormy weather, and tense atmosphere we sometimes have in this thread.

He's to many more years to come ( or something like that. I'm no Matt Smith or David Tennant, therefore I cannot give epic "Doctor Who" style speeches... -_-) !!!

I've been lurking for the past 6 pages.
I'll try to have some presence on this thread before season 3.

So to all who are new to this thread, Welcome. And to all who are returning for episode discussion, I await your thoughts and opinions on how season 3 will hold up under the expectation from the past 2 seasons, and whether or not it will go stale in the direction it's currently been going.

I know I'm a day late, but congratulations MLP:FiM for going on for 2 years now. Thanks to all the creators of this show for making it the best it can be, and keep up the good work going forward.

@DiscordedTeeJay You had me going there with that video of Applelicious, but it never turned out to be what I thought it would be. I hope that she gets one of her own finally soon.

I recently made a new banner for my Backloggery largely via MS Paint, and I added my Ponysona (via Pony Creator) in it as well.

I thought it was pretty obvious that that comic was directed @ GK and I don't even read every single comment in this thread

By the way, are you the friend in the comic? Gotta love his reaction on panel 4 (or was it 3 or 5?).

@Everyone I'm serious about this: State every reason you have for hating me, everything I do that pisses you people off! Honestly, I'm tired of always making one of you mad without even knowing it. I don't know what makes you mad! Is it because I came here in the first place?! Want me to leave?! Just say it guys! @Morphtroid To be perfectly honest, I don't know. I have my suspicions, but for now I can't say. As for the 3, 4, or 5 panel I must agree, I must agree that the expression is great.

@Mega Well it goes something like this...

Think of it like spongebob..and honestly a bit like star wars.

The world of MLP: FiM has monsters, dragons, fantasy creatures, interesting lands, danger, death, and tons of background things going on that the plot doesn't discuss because it's a different part of the world. Different cities and towns with recognizable characters.

Like star wars, the universe encourages fan growth. And even gives room for people to write fanfiction that doesn't even discuss the main characters--because they aren't needed, it's a fully functioning world. You could have another series in ponyville and ignore the mane six. Or go to fillydelphia, or canterlot. Or go back in time or in the future. But it makes sense to do that and you could imagine what happens in these stories and such.

It encourages a huge fanbase. It encourages creating OC ponies, or writing music for background ponies who never even speak. Stories, art, etc. It encourages a fan created universe.

Much like all the star wars fanart and such out there, you don't even have to include the main characters at all..the universe is well built enough you could create something for any given time and have it work.

And like spongebob, it's a kids show with grown up humor.

It is quite simply, fun
