@Hawk Sister. Applejack has a sister named Applebloom. Rarity's sister is Sweetie Belle (the white one). Scootaloo is just a fan of Rainbow Bash.

Call me dreamer if you can. Hawk ended up being used as an insult name on another site, LOL.

Kinda strange how the Sweetie Belle and Applebloom are sisters to the two ponies. They look so much alike I could have thought they were their children.

BTW, Are the ponies' parents ever in the show?

@TheDreamingHawk: We've seen Twilight's parents on two occasions (Cutie Mark Chronicles and A Canterlot Wedding part 2), Rarity's parents once (The Sisterhooves Social), and Pinkie Pie's parents (and sisters) once (also in Cutie Mark Chronicles). We see Applejack's extended family in the first episode, but never her parents proper. A lot of people have a feeling that they may have died, but there's no evidence to suggest as such.

Happy weekend everypony!

@GuardianKing As long as you don´t start using all three of them, I see no problem with you trading for a new OC on the RP. But I think you should wait for Squiggle to give you the green light.

@Applejacklove Aha I knew they would do an Applelicious with that. Real voice of Michele Creber there, yep. Recorded from the CMC panel at Seattle Everfree Con.

@TwilightPoint Oh wow awesome, for a first try is real nice. And why I'm not wayching you on DA :/, I really thought I was. Fixed.

And tonight a big epic on the ==Fic of The Week:==
Of Harmony & Chaos
[On Fimfiction Adventure Incomplete Everyone]
Another origin story but this one has a nice twist. The future princesses of Equestria, their adopted Draconequus brother and their best friends travel the world to find the elements. The use of fan accepted pony models (like Lauren Faust OC) and great, well developed OCs (yes, I said that), make this a great read that takes you to an old Equestria like no other.

And this makes so much sense...

What's that, who's calling me a changeling. Is that my voice? Twilight looks up at herself. "How are you me? Wait why I am not me, instead of you?" Twilight takes a pause. "I'm not a changeling. For some reason I'm Applebloom."

@Applebloom - Yay! More pony trolls.

@Twilight_Crow - Wow, Minecraft has a lot of enemies and I love how Luna just sits there, watching.

@GuardianKing - Trading 2 for 1? I don't mind, check with Squiggles first though

Howdy folks! Good to see you having some fun!

Just off-loading a few stats from the very successful demo of Pinkie Pie's Perilous Platforms!

As of today, we have...

  • surpassed 300 favorites (currently 305)
  • surpassed 550 downloads (currently 568)
  • surpassed 10,000 views (currently 10, 162)

I'd like to thank all the folks who played the demo, as your time playing was very instrumental in the development of this game! It will be a while until I can everything ironed out and there is no tentative date for release as yet, but I do expect significant progress by BronyCon 2013.

I also thank Equestria Daily and Equestria Gaming for featuring the demo as well (a very key part to the demo's promotion).

If you haven't played yet, you're very welcome to do so! Have fun! http://fav.me/d5b26pw

I finally tracked down the "Favorites Collection" featuring Nightmare Moon at my local Toys R Us yesterday. While I love having the collection of ponies, I've got to admit there are a couple of disappointment.

First, the six of the ponies' manes are TAPED down in addition to the brace. Unfortunately, this means, if you're not careful, you may end up taking a few strands of hair with the tape, much as I did with Trixie and Daisy, oh, I'm sorry, Flower Wishes. Careful extraction is key, but even then, some of their hairs may be bent out of place, requiring extra effort to get them to not stick out like a sore thumb. I'm STILL fighting with my DJ PON-3's mane.

Second, "Flower Wishes" and "Lemony Gem"? Since when did these two get to be "favorites"? If you wanted to throw in favorite ponies, I think if you wanted to throw in favorites, you could have made better choices as to who is included. The fanboy in me would say Applejack, but there's always ponies like Big Macintosh, Granny Smith, Spitfire, Soarin', Dr. Hooves, Bon Bon, or even Derpy. This IS the collection made for bronies, after all. I don't recall many "Lemony Gem" fanfics out there.

Third is DJ PON-3, whom I'll be referring to as Vinyl Scratch in this passage. First, let me just say that I'm glad this figure was even MADE. However, there are a couple flaws. First, this figure is using the same mold as a version of Twilight Sparkle's figure. This wouldn't be such a big deal if it weren't for the fact that, through the glasses, you can see the eye stamp of where Twilight's eyes would go, and it doesn't match up with the glasses. It would have been best served if they used a new head all together. I'd have recommended Pinkie Pie's eye-stamp for this. Also, a lot of people don't know this, but Vinyl Scratch is, in fact, YELLOW. She has an ever-subtle yellow hue to her. While this pony doesn't exactly match Rarity's pure-white coat, I can't say that Vinyl is yellow for sure. However, we all knew these figures aren't going to be entirely accurate, so perhaps it's wrong of me to cite these minor imperfections.

Besides, there is one reason to get this set and her name is NIGHTMARE MOON. This is easily one of, if not THE best pony figure I've seen them release. The colors are just about right, the hair is fine, and her shoes/slippers are colored! The attention to detail in making this toy is wonderful and she really stands out among my collection of candy-colored ponies, even next to the regular Princess Luna. Even better, she is FAR easier to extract from the box than her six counterparts and has a much better way of binding her mane. No taped down mane, just braced in place.

This set retails for $40 at TRU. Right now, there is a sale going on where MLP toys are buy one, get one 40% off. I wish I'd have known this and saved up, because the Royal Wedding Castle and a white Princess Celestia in stock. If you have the disposable income, I highly suggest you take advantage of this and save a good chunk of money on something else you might want.

Also, for those who didn't get my 3DS SwapNote, I also picked up, elsewhere, a box of the Blue Series Surprise Bags at my local Wal-Mart the other day. This is the all-glitter/metallic series and they look great. Like with all glitters, the glitter WILL run off with excessive handling. This series collects the Mane 6, a few fan favorites like Trixie and Minuette (Colgate), and Chance-A-Lot (Caramel), meaning you get both mares and stallions in this collection. The three bonuses are metallic versions of Rarity in silver, Applejack in gold, and Pinkie Pie in a metallic pink. These three look great as metallics and the details of the sculpts really stands out. A box will run you just south of $50, but most stores won't sell you the box solid. You'll essentially be buying 24 blind bags separate.

A note about buying a blind bag box, though: Although there is no guarantee to it, due to shipping errors, buying a fresh box of blind bags will usually get you the entire 24-pony collection with no doubles. There HAVE been cases where extra ponies were found and others were missing in their place. However, this isn't usually the case, I've found. If you do end up missing a pony or two, and can't trade with anyone, you can find a number identification chart and match it up with what's stamped onto the bag itself. This is usually accurate, so I suggest seeking them out.

Also available is the Purple Series of blind bags which I believe features the princess ponies. I've only seen these once, however, and couldn't afford it when I saw it. There were only a few left and there may not have been another full box in stock. Still, it's worth checking your local Toys R Us for these if you can find them.

And that concludes your pony toy report.

@GuardianKing - I'm not sure as I'm not Squiggles but it might have something to do with the magical eyes and relation to the Princesses. As that puts him above most ponies in terms of importance and the eyes would grant him vague powers that could make him unbelievably over powered.
Also,plot-hole - Wouldn't his sister tell him his name?

@GuardianKing Aqueous said "relation to the princesses" not good relation and devotion to the princesses. He meant you seem to want to make him more important by relating him to them in any kind of way; even a bad relationship. Now that he mentioned it, you do seem a bit obsessed about your OCs having to do with them. Maybe if you could just change that, then start using him .

I have no problem with the eyes, and until you actually use him can't really say if he is a bad OC. Also, his alignment really doesn't matter. Making your OCs honor less pricks doesn't make them better, you know?

@Plastic Please. Define. Because I'm tired of creating "Failed" OCs!

The way I see it, your character's back stories are too outlandish for Equestria. And they all seem to know the princesses personally. Your OC doesn't have to be important, he could just be a pony that lives in Ponyville and has a run-of-the-mill job, for example.

EDIT: I posted this before I refreshed the page and saw the plethora of posts. I forgot some of you are still out of school. Well, basically, what @Aqueous and @Twilight_Crow said.

@Everypony How about a license Monster Hunter (think Pokemon trainer; hunting/gathering data on the foreign creatures of Equestria), who's officially licensed by the Princess (in the way the government or something licenses you a certificate showing you have the right to own guns and stuff.) That way, everypony is happy!

Well?

@Crow I know. I'm compelled to write miserable prick-type flawed characters. It's my specialty. There's an ancient Chinese Proverb that says: "One must taste what is bitter, to appreciate what is sweet." Seeing unlikely heroes rise up to the task makes their victories so much sweeter.
