this tournament is absolutely crazy. I still think the finals will be a predictable North Carolina vs Kansas, but that's about the only thing in my bracket I got right. I'm definitely rooting for the little guys though.

VCU over KU and getting 3DS same day. OMG, did that actually happen, or am I having an Inception-style dream? We're going to get Butler back in the title game, or VCU playing for the championship. Said I was cheering for the underdogs, but didn't actually expect them to get by Florida and Kansas and have one of them in the title game! And my Rocky post... maybe VCU is the Rocky to top all Rockys. With Butler's big-game experience, it's hard for me to see them winning that one, though. Then again... Sharp contrast from 2 or 3 years ago when ALL number 1 seeds made the Final Four (and I think I briefly lapsed into a favorites winning-induced coma). This year, NONE.
Sorry, man. I don't have much against them, being a Big XII (or whatever it'll be w/o Nebraska & Colorado). Except for them beating Oklahoma in the 1988 title game. As for Bill Self, can't hold it against the Jayhawks that he left Tulsa University for bigger bucks/prestige. Was rooting for them just a itsy bitsy bit since they came out of the first tournament rounds played here in Tulsa.
Normally I don't really follow college sports, but I'm hoping VCU goes all the way. Both my siblings went there and it's my home team. The fact that they're sort of a "Cinderella Story" is kinda cool too.
With the Final Four experience of their star players who made it there last year, I'm going with Butler. They just seem driven to win it all. That said, if the biscuit won't go in the basket for you in a game, it doesn't matter how driven you are, or who you are. All four top seeds falling is the proof of that. Despite Butler's experience, they could go in there and get stomped by VCU, or UConn/Kentucky in the finals. As long as it's not the Kentucky "we've won umpteen national championships and are college basketball bluebloods who get one-year-and-done NBAers" Wildcats.
Who do you all got tomorrow? I got Butler and UConn moving on to the title game. Boy, I'm REALLY going to feel bad for Butler if they make it to the title game and get beaten by a last-second shot this year, when they missed a last second shot last year.
