Guess its a good game to start out with...they say Tri is considered easy for veterans. But for newbs like us...it was a pain in the ass the first time. (lost count on how many times I died against my first Barroth. xD)

You lose against Mario and Zelda bosses? Those are pre-school when compared to some of the later enemies you'll find in Monster Hunter. Especially if you're by yourself. Granted, the co-op in this game is arguably the best in any game ever, and if you can find a solid group of monster hunting friends then you will have some great fun.
Unless he's talking about the bosses in Skyward Sword, lol.

Yeah, some aspects of Monster Hunter are really, um, how do I say this... counter-intuitive, yeah that's it. Stupid totally wasn't the word I was looking for. No, that would never be appropriate to describe how I felt about my meat getting burned and my weapons sucking after I used them.

I, sometimes, lose a lot on missions in GTA, Black Ops, Saints Row, etc.
Co-Op seems really fun Going on missions with friends on a monster hunt!
