Spongebob, like Family guy and Simpsons has long fallen into the toilet after the good writers left. I'd be happy if the producers are willing to pull the plug on ol' yeller so we can talk about how good the shows were "back in our days".

Yah, I never watched the show for year but I watched the last and second last episode of season 11, the second last episode was nasty, everyone high on meth and what really got to me was that Chris did a chicken and it layed a huge egg with a chick Chris in it and it sounded like him to.

@Mickey but in cases where a franchise is milked dry, there is nothing good left to salvage. It's a case of the shows riding off on the success of their "Glory Days" and the writers relying on gimmicks(guest stars for example) or random slapstick to promote the episode and surprisingly the audience still watches. Yeah we could hope things will get better, but seeing that the network is contented with the hits, the writers will continue to stick with the direction they are taking.
