@icerazor well I wouldn't buy a main Pokemon game for WiiU(I actually don't even have a WiiU ) pokemon's too popular to leave it at home.... now if it had the MH3U feature of exchanging save files between systems it would be a different story!
plus Super Smash Bros. is coming to a handheld so everything is possible......

The main issue is that trading would be a pain on a home console... there would be no local trades on a home console, and trading locally is always better than over the internet.

Maybe they could use a special app on the 3DS or something so that you can transfer Pokemon from one Wii U game to another. Never mind, I mis-interpreted your comment.

I don't see why trading would be so hard, you could call up your friend and tell him to get online, and what about the Global trade station in the pokemon games? [Idk if they changed that, last game i played was platinum cuz my ds broke]

EXACTLY! Smash bros looked like a home console only game and now its coming to the 3ds... I don't want a pokemon spin-off, i just want a main series game for wii u. Even a pokemon remake would be fine...

Now why not un-complicate the matter and just leave it in 3DS? I think that must be Nintendo's mindset on the matter; I think that's why Pokémon Bank is on the same console as the games this time, rather than being on the home console of the generation (like Pokémon Box and My Pokémon Ranch in the past).
