I'm really showing my age especially on my head. My Fiance thinks i should dye it but I'm like, meh whatever it happens. It's very noticeable though. I look like Steve Martin in his twenties for God sakes! It's starting to scare me.
Anybody here getting grayer than a mule at somewhat a young age?
Haha I didn't expect a topic like this at all. Can't say that I am now that I'm 31 years old. However, I look very young for my age and I have seen some people from my generation get a considerable amount of gray hair already. I'd say that you are good looking like that at 42.
LOL yeah it's late and i was bored i guess. Just debating on whether I should just age gracefully or color it. I am starting to get alot of comments. People going, damn dude you're getting gray! Then there's people who see me with my lady and they think she's hanging out with her daddy or Grandpa and we're only one year apart.
I'm starting to get a bit of a grey in my beard, not that anyone can see it behind the mask but yeah. Doesn't bother me. I'd rather go a bit grey than bald and I don't think I picked up the balding gene. My brother had a pretty heavily receding hairline when he was like 8 years younger than I currently am. So dodged that bullet I think

An opinion is only respectable if it can be defended. Respect people, not opinions
I admit that I’m feeling a little more insecure about my greys (ironically) now that I am 32 than I was in my 20s. I noticed my first greys when I was about 23, and they’re not particularly noticeable apart from a few strays in my beard (my chin mostly) and I have the odd grey on my head.
I’ll be happy as long as I have a full head of hair into my old age. My mum’s side of the family have been mostly fortunate in that respect. My dad’s side, decidedly less so. I can’t tell whether my hairline is gradually receding or if I am just paranoid though. And I have a tendency to never cut my hair short (not deliberately anyway), allowing it to grow into an unruly mess.
I don’t think I’ll ever dye it though. If it looks particularly ugly, I might consider it, but I don’t want goofy looking hair either. My dad got his hair dyed a few times, and it looked okay, but one of his customers, an elderly gentleman, followed his lead and looked absolutely ridiculous.
I’m quite young-looking too, so I should count my blessings. My grandmother even commented earlier tonight that I look about 20. My mum and uncle are very youthful looking as well considering that they are both in their mid-50s and have been smoking virtually all their lives.
I'm 34 and a Shota "Male version of loli" I literally still look 14-15 years old, HOWEVER the elephant in the room is that like 50% of my hair is grey. I actually have more grey in my hair than my 57 year old mother. I look especially ridiculous with my youthful appearance if I let my facial hair grow-out which is almost entirely grey. 😬
40 as of a few months with maybe twice as many grey hairs as showed up in my early twenties. I probably have a couple dozen now. Just glad I'm not full bald like my dad at this age. I've also known a few that went bald in their early 20s, so it could be worse. But at that point just own it and make the best of it, like Patrick Stewart.
In my high school years, there was a student a year or two above me who was almost completely grey. One could be forgiven for thinking that he was one of the teachers.
A few of my classmates also experienced baldness in their 20s (and they all had such nice hair during their high school years too).
If it makes you feel any better, grey and silver hair is pretty in trend over the last few years and some people spend hundreds to constantly bleach and tone their locks .
